I traveled to the Euhemeria lighthouse to rescue Khenut and Shadya. After a failed assassination attempt led to an open battle, I was forced to retreat and use fire arrows. Following a brief defeat, I swam to Khenut, discovering her in despair as we realized Shadya's tragic fate.
I got news about Khenut heading towards the Euhemeria area lighthouse as Shadya was missing. I had to rescue them, so I rode there to find a group of enemies guarding the area.
I flew Senu to check how many of them were stationed there, marking the soldiers scattered around the base of the tall structure.
I noticed there were not a lot of them, so I whistled at one guard near the entrance to lure him in. I tried to assassinate him, but my hidden blade was not strong enough to take him down at once. He shouted out, and the others started coming towards me, alerting the entire camp to my presence.
When I understood it would not be easy to take them all down in the open, I started escaping their wrath. I reached a height nearby to shoot the enemies from a safer distance. I looked for environmental hazards I could exploit while the soldiers searched the tall grass for my location below.
When the enemies were getting back to their camp, I decided to shoot an oil pot with a fire arrow. I aimed for a heavy soldier standing nearby, hoping the explosion would end him.
Unfortunately, the soldier was a little far from the center of the burned area, so he survived and started coming towards me. I kept shooting him with fire arrows that started burning his armor, but he was too strong to go down easily.
When I understood I was getting overwhelmed by their numbers, I tried to change my location again. However, one of them shot me with an arrow and took me down in an instant.
After recovering, I noticed Khenut was right below the lighthouse where I could meet her without alerting the soldiers again. I jumped into the water and I started swimming towards her silently.
After getting to Khenut, a cinematic part started where Bayek found her searching desperately for Shadya in the water. The sad background music told us something terrible happened to the little girl.
