I traveled to Memphis and met the high priest, whose city is suffering under a curse tied to a dying Apis bull and repeated miscarriages in his home.
Following the priest's advice, I visited the Seer's house, where a ritual meant to save the unborn child takes a strange turn, ending with Bayek being forced to drink a mysterious substance before collapsing.
I had to travel to Memphis for the first time, which was a long way from where I was. First, I tried a fast travel to the closest Eagle Point, and from there I rode the rest of the road. And after reaching Memphis, the first thing I did was synchronize with a point of interest to make a fast travel point there.
I had to meet the high priest of Memphis to start this mission and when I reached his location I was shown a cinematic part where the high priest was talking to his pregnant wife. And the wife was depressed about something.
Then the high priest walked to a room where a strong bull was tied up. The bull was acting as if an evil bestowed upon him, and the high priest was there to calm him down.
Then Bayek met the high priest and said he was there to seek the lizard. And the high priest said, the lizard is one more affliction for Memphis, and the city withers in the darkness of a curse, and I was shown the lizard at that time.
The high priest mentioned their Apis bull was sickened nearly unto death. The people look to him for guidance, but he is as lost as they are. And then he untied the bull. I thought the bull would misbehave, but it looked like he was dying.
The high priest was thinking it was a curse that touched his own house. Even his wife has miscarried three times this year. And Bayek said he would look into this.
Before leaving, the High Priest suggested Bayek that his wife Seer can help, mentioning his house is to the South-East. Then I had to reach the Seer's house and speak to Taimhotep next.
After reaching the Seer's house, I found the Seer doing some ritual for the High Priest's wife, Taimhotep, so she won't miscarry again.
Seeing Bayek, the CR said, he is a deliverer, mentioning that he had waited many years for Bayek. And then Taimhotep asked Bayek to help her bring his child away from death.
Then I brought a cauldron into the ritual circle.
Then the Seer was ordering someone named Sothis to reveal thyself and answer him without falsehood. And then he gave Bayek something to make the lady drink it.
Bayek was helping the lady drinking the thing and suddenly the lady made Bayek drink some of it without any question.
Bayek acted strange and it looked like he was fainting. Then actually he fell on the ground and he fainted for real.
