After defeating the bodyguards, I engaged in a grueling duel with the Greek captain, eventually taking him down with the help of rebel archers. I recovered an insignia linking the corruption to Fort Boubastos.

Finally, I joined Hotephres and Khenut in a somber ritual for Shadya.

As I was done taking care of the bodyguards, there was only the captain left to deal with at the site. I knew he was slower, so I decided to face him directly to finish the fight.

But no matter how slow he was, his attacks were really heavy and took a massive toll on my defense. I had to take time to regenerate my health after getting damaged by his crushing strikes.

I kept going for him and damaged him a little while he was wandering around looking for me. However, he was a strong warrior and kept damaging me in return every time I got too close for comfort.

I knew it was going to be a slow process to bring him down, but I was at least getting there with every successful strike. So I stuck to this strategy of patience and precision, refusing to rush into a fatal mistake.

I watched his movements carefully, learning the rhythm of his heavy swings to find the perfect opening.

There I used a shallow distraction to confuse him while I ran towards him and jumped on him from a nearby ledge. He survived the initial impact and climbed back to his feet.

For a moment I decided to face him head-on again, so I started dodging his attacks with quick movements. I did great there, slipping under his massive axe and landing quick counter-attacks.

I had to escape again after getting damaged by a lucky swipe from his blade. When I knew the time was right, I tried a leap attack again to bring the full weight of my blade down on him.

And I had to escape again right after the jump to avoid his desperate counter attack. I realized I would die with a single scratch next if I stayed within his reach for even a second longer.

When I went for the enemy again, some rebels assisted me in the fight and they started shooting the enemy with arrows from their horses. The captain was overwhelmed by the rain of arrows coming from all sides.

It looked like the rebels did amazing and pinned down the enemy captain with their relentless fire, but I had to confirm the kill myself. I found an important insignia on the dead body after he finally fell to the ground.

I ran back to Hotephres and Khenut while taking the insignia to show them what I had discovered. Hotephres confirmed it was from Fort Boubastos to the east, run by another man who thought himself untouchable.

He explained that people would continue to suffer unless we acted, so Hotephres asked for Bayek's help at last.

Then Bayek decided to join Khenut for the ritual to say goodbye to Shadya. They stood together in silence, honoring the memory of the light that had been taken from them too soon.

The quest "Shadya's Rest" was completed and a new one came in sight as the sun began to set over the horizon. Senu came over and landed on my hand.

I took the opportunity to capture this beautiful photo of the loyal eagle and her master before moving on to the east.

That duel with the captain was a true test of patience and survival. It was smart to prioritize health regeneration rather than rushing in.

The photo of Senu landing on Bayek's hand was a beautiful way to end the session. I loved that you took the time to capture a photo of that moment.

I liked how you kept your patience and fought the captain. Winning slowly with smart moves made the victory more satisfying and exciting to watch.

That was the only way to defeat that captain, given my current gears and level. Thanks for stopping by.
