Signs in the Sands.

in Gaming Photographyyesterday

While searching for more desert mirages, I was caught in a sandstorm and encountered strange visions once again. The mysterious traveler in white led me to unsettling scenes, including Bayek's body and vanishing figures.

Mirages grew stranger with a floating scarf and ghostly enemies. The desert feels alive, hiding a deeper meaning.

I was looking for more mirage in the isolated desert, but suddenly the sandstorm caught me off guard. I stopped there to see how Bayek reacts, and he absolutely reacted so naturally, like using his hands to block the sands.

Then I noticed that the white-dressed traveler was again after I collected some loot, and this time he was riding a horse. I started following him to see what he'd show me this time, and I noticed he stopped at a distance.

The traveler disappeared when I went close, but he left this dead body of Bayek for me. It was in the same condition, and I really started thinking about the meaning behind this one.

And I noticed something new this time.

A kid was checking on some big flower plants. I noticed a figure at a long distance who was just staring at us from that far.

I went close to the kid, and he disappeared first. Then the flower plants also disappeared slowly. I didn't see the figure at a distance as well.

I saw this scarf flying. Do you remember me finding a skeleton who left a letter about his wife's scarf? I guess this is the scarf, and it also disappears after floating for a moment.

I decided to ride a long distance where I hadn't ridden till now, and suddenly I heard some noise over that hill, so I was trying to get there, but my camel started acting strange as if he understood something's presence there.

I got off the camel and went there on foot, but didn't see anything, and the noise stopped as well.

See that shooting star? That's also part of the mirage.

Found some ghosts on my way, whom I attacked, and then I understood they're not ghosts, they were strong enemies, so I was escaping, but they shot me down.

I'll show more of my photographic journey of the games soon, so stay tuned to my blog if you liked them.

The screenshots are taken by me personally from my gameplay, and I borrowed the game's logo from DevianArt.

Totally, it felt like the game was teasing me, lol.

Your description of the camel reacting to unseen presence adds a nice touch of realism in this case. Keep exploring and show us these mirages, it's fascinating.
