While exploring the desert, I discovered a distant palace that turned out to be Anbar, the place where everything began. Returning to the Winter Palace filled me with nostalgia as I retraced Nehal and Basim's old path. The palace was quieter now, with fewer guards, but the memories were louder than ever.

When I was exploring the desert, I suddenly noticed a palace afar. I knew its not Baghdad as the city was on the other side so I got excited to check it out and I started riding towards there.

It looked like an abandoned place/palace from a far but when I was getting close, I started seeing torch and peoples around.

And then I noticed this place is no other than Anbar, where it all started. I honestly thought Anbar and Winter Palace were parts of Baghdad but now I see its a different place and I there are still guards, guarding this place.

I can't express how nostalgic it felt when I was back at where it all began, whre memories started haunting me. I ran towards the Winter Palace right away and found the entrance was still guarded.

I followed the path that once Nehal showed me when we snuck in the palace beefore everything went upside down. And I reached that roof where Basim had the last proper converstaion with Nehal, where they planned their entry into the Winter Palace.

I decided to get inside the palace again, through the same path and this time I was alone, but I was trained as well.

After getting in, I stopped to check on the guards at the entrance. Though it looked like the palace was not being heavily guarded as it used to before.

I went ahead to check around and I found some peoples were like sleeping im the open and some were just gossipping.

I noticed this beautiful garden including a fountain, an artificial pond and some flowr plants around.

Then I was going deeper, towards the room where I messed it up last time. But there were two more guards at the other door and they noticed me from afar so they were coming towards me to get sure.
I was not looking for a direct conflict so I was getting out of their sight.
Until next time, happy gaming.

You described the nostalgia beautifully, it really sounds like the past and present overlapping. It is funny how Anbar looked abandoned from afar but turned out to be very much alive.
Thanks for your understanding.
These scenes are so well captured, I loved them.
Thank you.
