After getting supplies and an extractor from Olivia, I left the monastery to explore the surrounding area. I used my new stealth skill to navigate through a town while avoiding infected. After kicking a human attacker off a roof, I defeated an enemy archer and took his bow.

After exploring around the apartment, I talked to Olivia to see what the next move was. She said there were some supplies for me , and I found them along with a workbench. I gathered everything I could find to make sure I was ready for the dangers waiting outside.

Then I had to get back to her, and she gave me some new objectives for my mission. Most of them were about extracting a booster from a chimera if I happened to find one in the wild. She gave me the extractor tool as well, which looked very important for my survival.

Then I went out in the open air for the first time in a while. I got amazed again seeing the beautiful graphics and the lighting around the environment. The world looked both broken and beautiful at the same time, and I took a moment to appreciate the view before moving on.

I had to get out of the monastery area and make my way to a town nearby. There were a lot of infected on the path, but I decided to ignore all of them to save my ammo. I noticed they were trying to approach me as I ran past.

After getting close to the town, I took down some infected using stealth. I have to mention that I recently used the workbench to add the stealth ability to my skill set. It worked perfectly, allowing me to move behind the enemies and take them out without making any noise.

Then I went for the town, and I had to pass through a deep waterway because it was a useful shortcut. I noticed I could dive underwater and also swim in a very realistic way. The water effects were great, and I felt completely immersed as I moved ahead.

After getting to the town, I had to investigate the area for any clues. I explored the valley for allies who might help us against the Baron. I noticed there were a lot of infected wandering around, and I ignored most of them while I searched around.

While I was exploring around for allies, someone suddenly attacked me from behind. I realized it was a living human instead of a zombie. I fought back and kicked him off a roof, where he became a meal for the infected waiting below.

Then I noticed there was another enemy who was shooting at me with arrows from a distance. I moved quickly to get close to him before he could shoot again.

Then I beheaded him using my machete and I picked up his bow and some arrows for myself.

I'll show what happens next later.

I personally took all the screenshots from my play and I used a logo of the game from online to use in the thumbnail.

This is Pikachuuuuu signing off. Over and out.

Using the workbench to prioritize stealth was a smart move. It should change the gameplay when you can dismantle a group of infected without alerting the entire town.

Stealth is a much needed thing in such a game.

That rooftop fight with the human was intense. Kicking him off to the infected below was a brutal but very effective way to handle the situation.

I was totally surprised finding a human among those infected.

The environment looks lonely. It feels broken yet beautiful, just like a true survival world where danger can come at any time.

Dangers everywhere once you go out.

It's crazy how much the world opens up once you leave the monastery. The contrast between the town and that realistic lighting makes for some top-tier shots. I liked the photos. Anyway, don't you have a photo mode access to this game?

There was a photo mode but it was locked. I recently got it unlocked and tried it as well.
