After the Symbiote healed Peter's broken arm, he engaged in a final, brutal rematch with the Lizard. Utilizing the Symbiote's rage and aggressive parries, I successfully pinned the beast and injected the serum. As the platform collapsed, Peter rescued Dr. Connors from drowning, ensuring his survival.
Peter couldn't inject the Lizard with the serum last time. Instead, they crashed inside a building and he still had the serum clutched in one of his hands when his other hand broke badly from the force, but the Symbiote fixed it instantly in the cinematic part.
The Lizard suddenly jumped out of the water after recovering from the crash, looking more monstrous than ever. He grew his tail back right away on Peter's witness, showing off a terrifying level of regeneration before coming for a rematch.
The beast started attacking me even before I could get prepared. This time I was determined that I wouldn't give him a chance to pin me down or overpower my defenses like he did before. I kept my eyes on his claws, ready to dodge his crushing weight.
Fortunately, the Symbiote's rage was ready to be unleashed, so I activated it at the perfect time to give him a good thrash. It was a surge of power that turned the tide of the battle in an instant.
But the beast got some chances to attack me back as it knew it was its last time to fight for its survival. It lashed out with its claws and teeth, desperate to shake off the pressure Peter was applying.
Even with the suit's protection, the impacts felt heavy, and I had to stay focused to avoid being caught in a deadly grapple.
Along with Peter, I was also aggressive this time, so I was giving the Lizard low chances of attacking me effectively. I was parrying and dodging most of his attacks.
Every time he tried to strike, I was already moving to a counter-position, hitting him back with increased force and speed.
At last, I pinned the beast down. Peter used the Symbiotes to hold him down with multiple tendrils while he went for him with the serum. The struggle was intense, as the creature hissed and fought against the black bonds that were pinning its massive limbs to the ground.
The beast was tired this time from the struggle, so he couldn't do much while Peter forced his jaw open. Peter opened the beast's mouth and injected the serum right in the jaw.
The serum was injected successfully this time, but the platform beneath them got shattered from the combat damage. This made them both sink into the water below.
Peter noticed Dr. Connors transformed into his human form from the Lizard and he was drowning in the deep water. Peter caught him before he could drift away and dived back to the surface so Dr. Connors would survive.
Peter pulled the man, making sure he was breathing after the nightmare was finally over.

The Lizard returning from the water and regrowing his tail so quickly made the rematch feel even more intense. Its regeneration proved that you had no time to waste if you wanted to stop the monster for good.
