After a tough fourth round, Peter used acoustic pipe vibrations to help MJ break free from the Scream symbiote. Reunited, MJ quit her job with Jameson on the spot. After learning about a hive mind vision and an explosion, I'd have to head toward City Hall next.
The new round began with me trapped immediately. Having taken heavy damage right away, I chose not to struggle, letting the symbiote defeat me to quickly reset at the round's starting checkpoint.
Coming back with a better strategy, I utilized every environmental sonic point available, pushing the offense hard while hoping the strikes only hurt the symbiote rather than MJ directly.
Peter tried reasoning with her throughout the clash, but the symbiote fought back viciously, accusing him of lying.
I landed heavy hits to break her guard, though an unexpected hair-swipe attack caught me off guard right before I could trigger a finisher, forcing me to use my meter to restore health instead.
When a news helicopter circled the arena, I finally drained her health bar to win the fourth round. Despite the defeat, the symbiote still tried to force MJ to strike down Peter.
Shifting tactics, Peter stopped attacking entirely, standing his ground to speak directly to Mary Jane Watson, though Scream was trying to choke Peter to death.
When she slammed him into a stack of metal construction pipes, the resulting high-pitched sonic echo destabilized the alien suit.
Seizing the opening, Peter helped MJ fight the host connection, allowing her to finally tear the symbiote off completely.
MJ was relieved to be back to normal and she hugged Peter tightly right away knowing Peter didn't give up on her.
MJ immediately took a call from J. Jonah Jameson. Overhearing his shouting, she casually quit her job at the Daily Bugle on the spot, earning an admiring comment from Peter.
The relief of her rescue was quickly cut short when a massive explosion detonated in the distance toward their home. MJ revealed that while linked to the symbiote hive mind, she felt Harry's growing influence.
Interrupting the moment, Miles sent a text warning that City Hall was under siege. MJ urged Peter to assist, exchanging declarations of love as he departed.
When I was swinging through Queens toward the objective, Peter called Miles over the comms to quickly catch him up on the chaotic events of the past few hours.
Peter then phoned Rio Morales to confirm her safety. Her cryptic response that "they" were fine raised an immediate red flag that something might already be wrong at home.

That moment when Peter stopped fighting and just tried talking to MJ while Scream was literally choking him was such a Spider-Man move.
The hug between Peter and MJ felt like a proper emotional payoff after everything they had just survived together. MJ quitting on Jameson right after the fight was hilarious.
The hair attack from Scream surprised me because it came at the worst time. You were ready to use the finisher, but suddenly Peter took damage and had to heal instead of attack.
