I fought through a mercenary siege to reach my skycar, only to be shot down by a missile. After surviving the crash, I followed Rigby's drone through a hostile city under lockdown. A high-speed pursuit led me to the desert mines, where a final overwhelming blockade of robots forced a retreat.

I had to get in the skycar, but my path ahead was blocked by mercenaries. I started shooting them to clear my way, which was not so easy as they used the rooftop vents for cover and made the fight hard for me.

After fighting and taking down a bunch of mercenaries where I almost died several times, I reached my skycar at last. I took help from my drone's stun ability to paralyze the remaining guards while I approached the vehicle.

At last I got in the skycar, hoping I would escape this roof easily now. But suddenly, a missile hit the skycar with a deafening explosion, and the cockpit alarms started screaming as the engines failed.

When Jacob was going down, taking the skycar along, he was in comms with Rigby. He mentioned he was crashing and he crashed at last into a lower courtyard, but he miraculously survived the impact.

Rigby sent a drone that I had to follow to get out of the crash site. The area was still filled with mercenaries who tried to stop me, forcing me to weave between concrete pillars to stay alive.

When I was following Rigby's drone and clearing the mercenaries, I noticed there came some people in army suits. There were a lot of them, indicating that the situation in the city had escalated to total war.

I kept running while eliminating them, and at last I was ambushed by two enemy drones. They stuck me there for a good time as I kept dying, their rapid-fire lasers making it impossible to stay in the open.

I understood I was not going to make it by fighting, so I ran ahead without engaging the drones. After taking down more mercenaries, I reached the street level where Rigby sent a getaway car for me.

I still had to take care of a lot of mercenaries near the vehicle, and reinforcements kept arriving. Then at last, I found the car, got inside, and started escaping the immediate hot zone.

I noticed the whole city was locked down, with mercenaries at every transit point. They kept shooting me during the high-speed pursuit, and I was asked to get to Morrison's bunker to have any hope of survival.

I drove as fast as I could towards the mine in the desert. My car was eventually damaged and I was pinned down by a massive force of robots and mercs waiting at the site.
That's all for this session. More moments coming soon and thanks for checking it out.

That rooftop fight looked brutally intense. I noticed why you mentioned it was not an easy job. Your tactical strategy and patience worked well there. Yeah, you were dying almost but yet you survived.

So, that missile strike was so sudden and changed everything instantly. The pacing here worked really well since each victory immediately led to another threat, making the mission feel exhausting in a good way.
