Seeking a place to eat, Enzo and Gaetano rested in the bunkhouse, where Enzo read a letter from Gaetano's uncle. Their break was cut short by a supervisor demanding a double shift. Outside, after Don Spadaro suppressed a miner revolt, Merlo forced the duo deep into the dangerous East Mine to find two missing workers.

So after getting the loaf, Gaetano suggested we should get inside bunkhouse to eat this in peace. And on our way, Enzo tried to talk about the East-mine, but Gaetano was not interested in it, as he mentioned the East-mine has nothing to do with them.

On our way, I stopped to check around that place and I found some laborers were still weighing the big rocks using a heavy scale. If they're source of gold, just imagine how much they'll be getting out of those rocks.

And we reached the bunkhouse, where they went to get some rest and eat the loaf in peace. Gaetano asked Enzo to read a letter for him that was sent from his uncle Silvio, asking him to get over there for a good life.

Suddenly, one of their supervisors came inside the bunkhouse and asked them to get out, mentioning it was their double shift day, and they had to go out without taking rest.

After getting out, they found a miner who was likely revolting as they didn't want to get inside the deep mine where two of their men went missing, and a desperate crowd of workers gathered to voice their fears.

So Don Spadaro, who was in charge there, came over and kind of threatened the miner, mentioning they'll be sure to look into the problems, and the miners didn't have any say against it, so they just went for the mine.

Then that man, Merlo, sent both Enzo and Gaetano into that deep mine, which was the east side mine Enzo mentioned before. And there we had to look for the missing miner from deep inside the mine, which could be dangerous for us.

Merlo escorted us inside the mine, and then we had to go our way, while I noticed there were peoples kept digging around, and only the two of us had to go deeper cause Merlo didn't like Enzo.

We grabbed lanterns and started looking for the missing miners, having it in mind that if we sense gas around the mine, we'll just get out of there real fast as we were not sent there for testing gas.

After reaching this specific tunnel entrance, we found it closed off so Gaetano mentioned we should look for a connecting tunnel. And there I found a letter mentioning that tunnel was unstable, was not safe until they get more supports.
To be continued.

STOPEnzo tried to warn Gaetano about the mine, and Gaetano completely brushed it off like a minor inconvenience and now they're in there, luck.
Yeah karma!

The moment the supervisor interrupted their meal, I knew something bad was coming. Were you expecting the East Mine mission to turn dangerous that quickly?
Did you play this game or what? I mean, the danger didn't come yet in this post but you seem to be know about it. And yeah, right after getting inside the mine, I knew something bad was going to happen.
Let's hope Enzo and Gaetano can find those missing workers and get out before the unstable tunnel comes down on them.
Yes, let's hope for the best.
You were just trying to enjoy a nice lunch break when the supervisor arrived to ruin your whole day with a double shift. I feel sad for those peoples who really had to go through such miserable lives and for those who are still suffering in the world.
🥺🙂
