Yes, no in-game screenshots, only on live rendered cutscenes. Apologies in advance if the images look really dark, HDR screenshots are tricky when it comes to color gamut. Next time I'll try to change up the settings to make it brighter and livelier.
But yeah, this stuff is super gorgeous to look at. The cell-shaded mixed with fully sketched out and rendered textures. The effects, lighting, shadows, post-processing effects. I know they made Ori, but this makes everything pale in comparison to it. Each of these images represent a story, one I'll do what I can do narrate of. There's so much happened in the span of 4hrs playthrough.
The ship on its way to Salem, the monarchy church from the mainland has send their Ceram. A warrior that takes away the pestilence that is destroying villages and turning people into gruesome monsters.
It seems the journey wasn't without its problems, the ship was ambushed by a rebel group.
And that rebel group is led by a girl named Odessa, leading the Risen against mainland forces who seemingly imposes their rule of sorts, and don't help them out when they need em to. Sounds like a lot of politics, of course, that's none of my business considering the job role.

Ok, this one looked very cool. Just look at the water, the ship in between. The background, horizon view with the sun on top. This is crazy visualization that mostly you see in high-buget Hollywood animated films from Pixar, DreamWorks, and so on. It's ridiculously gorgeous looking.
This beastly monstrosity was the first of the big ones that I've encountered. Not a big enemy, he was multiple big enemies in one. Swinging his large sword so frantic and aggressively.
The king's brother, upon hearing the news of his passing. You can see the genuine shock on his face, the grief that follows later. Just capturing this scene was hard, with the few second window that I had. Look at the asymmetrical reflection on his eyes. That is crazy attention to detail.
