Many believe CBDCs will put commercial banks out of business, but according to Aaron Day that’s not how CBDCs work. Just like they do with fiat, Central banks will issue CBDCs to big players like JPMorgan and Wells Fargo, who will just keep doing business as usual—just with new surveillance powers and programmable money.
This is already happening globally. It's how they're doing it in China and it’s the plan for the U.S. too.
