Bonsai has been around for well over a thousand years. The ultimate goal of growing a Bonsai is to create a miniaturized but realistic representation of nature in the form of a tree. Bonsai are not genetically dwarfed plants, in fact, any tree species can be used to grow one.
hobby bonsai is something interesting. because you create a work of art of objects that are living and changing. this is the highest level in a work of art.
Bonsai prices really depend on how much time is invested in that particular tree. The quick way to grow Bonsai is cheap, but the results are not attractive. The combination of thick stems with spikes is expensive, as it takes more time to grow.
