User Profile Translation Improvements

Stop Automatic Translation on Profile Feeds

  • Fixed an issue where User Profile feeds automatically translated posts into English without user interaction.

  • Post titles now always display in the author's original language.

  • Preview snippets also remain unchanged and preserve the creator's intended content.

  • Manual translation controls continue to work exactly as before for users who choose to translate content.

Better Multilingual Experience

  • Users can now browse international Hive profiles without losing original context.

  • Preserves authenticity of content across different languages.

  • Improves consistency between profile feeds and original on-chain content.

Mobile Safe-Area Header Fixes

Improved Sticky Header Positioning

  • Fixed sticky page headers being hidden behind device notches and status bars.

  • Applies to:

    • Post Detail Pages
    • User Profile Pages
    • Loading Skeleton States
  • Header elements now remain fully visible on modern devices with display cutouts.

Better Navigation Experience

  • Back buttons now remain accessible at all times.

  • User avatars and header action buttons no longer overlap with device safe areas.

  • Profile tab navigation correctly positions itself below the adjusted header layout.

Consistent Loading States

  • Added identical safe-area handling to skeleton headers.

  • Loading screens now visually match the final rendered pages.

  • Creates a smoother and more polished mobile experience.

Enhanced IPFS Detection

  • Fixed Skatehive and other IPFS-powered posts displaying generic "Unsupported" placeholders.

  • Media is displayed according to its actual content type.

Automatic Media Type Recognition

Supported media now includes:

  • Images

  • Videos

  • IPFS-hosted content

  • Gateway-based media resources

  • Users no longer need to open external links to view supported content.

Dedicated IPFS Media Renderer

  • Added a dedicated IPFS media rendering system.

  • Performs cached content-type checks for improved performance.

  • Previously loaded media can render faster on subsequent views.

Cleaner Post Presentation

  • Removed unnecessary iframe wrappers around supported media.

  • Eliminated leftover "Unsupported" placeholder messages.
