Creo que uno de los elementos más característicos de la civilización humana, y que nos diferencia de los animales, es la existencia del dinero. En una publicación muy antigua recuerdo haber mencionado algo sobre el dinero como el único lenguage de comunicación que existe globalmente. No todos hablamos el mismo idioma, pero todos o casi todos reconocemos un billete de 1$😂.

En medio de todo esto ¿A qué vienen las criptomonedas? A mi modo de ver, es una manera que la humanidad encontró para recuperar la propiedad individual y la responsabilidad sobre su propia economía. Creo que al estar en una isla como Tenerife y estar en cercanía constante con personas que no hablan español me ha hecho tener esto del lenguage más presente.
No importa quien creó a las criptomonedas ¿Quien creó el dinero? Fue una invención anónima hace miles de años. Ahora, si hablamos del dinero como lo conocemos en la modernidad, es otro tema. El dinero estatal se ha convertido en la manera en como las naciones gestionan su economía. Sin embargo, lo que en un principio fue una manera de crear economías fuertes y prósperas a nivel mundial, ahora se ha convertido en una especie de maquinaria que poco vela por el interés del individuo.
Naturalmente, en medio de tanto avance tecnológico y cierta falta de libertad que muchos empezaron a sentir en el mundo con respecto al dinero, alguien iba finalmente a crear Bitcoin y poner en marcha una blockchain tan sólida que hasta hoy en día es inquebrantable. Era algo que tenía que darse prácticamente por inercia, como todo cambio de paradigma en la historia, y más de 10 años después, las criptomonedas se han vuelto parte cotidiana de nuestra vida, ya no es un taboo hablar de ellas, al menos no en redes sociales.
Otro aspecto humano que veo en las criptomonedas es la confianza. Si bien hay muchas criptomonedas que no inspiran confianza y aún hay muchas personas que desconfían de las criptos, a lo que me refiero es a que hemos llegado a un punto en la humanidad en que un intercambio de dinero puede electrónicamente sin intermediario. En la antiguedad, la confianza era lo principal para hacer o no comercio con alguna persona, al no existir un intermediario que resguarde los fondos. El hecho de que estos intercambios hayan podido prosperar y generar cierto avance económico y material en un mundo como el antiguo, hace pensar que las criptos pueden hacer lo mismo, en un entorno digital, global y moderno.
Regresando a lo del idioma, aquí en Hive existen personas de todo el mundo. Imagina una escena en la antiguedad en la que vas a un mercado de especias, y a través de una moneda de plata compras algo a alguien que no habla el mismo idioma ni tiene tu cultura, pero gracias a esa moneda pudiste intercambiar algo con él, y ambos salieron beneficiados. Algo exactamente así puede hacer una criptomoneda o blockchain como la de Hive, pero en lo digital y moderno. Difícilmente podríamos hacer eso con una moneda de tu país, quizás al menos que se trate de dólar o euro.
Así como el dinero es capaz de conectar dos personas pacíficamente (también puede crear guerra pero eso es otro tema😂), las criptos unen globalmente a las personas sin importar su idioma o nacionalidad. Y para agregar, a diferencia del dinero tradicional, veo difícil que las criptomonedas sean capaces de generar guerras, debido a su naturaleza transparente y a prueba de engaños de las blockchains, en donde todo puede verificarse. Si bien en la actualidad están surgiendo ciertas ideas que abogan por el fortalecimiento de la cultura propia y el rechazo por el "de afuera", las criptos van más allá de ideologías y emociones, pero eso es otro tema que quizás sea para otro post.

While many cryptocurrencies do not inspire trust and there are still many people who distrust cryptos, what I am referring to is that we have reached a point in humanity where an exchange of money can be done electronically without an intermediary. In ancient times, trust was the main thing to do or not to trade with someone, since there was no intermediary to safeguard the funds. The fact that these exchanges were able to prosper and generate some economic and material progress in a world like the ancient one, makes us think that cryptos can do the same, in a digital, global and modern environment.
Going back to the language issue, here in Hive there are people from all over the world. Imagine a scene in ancient times in which you go to a spice market, and through a silver coin you buy something from someone who does not speak the same language or have your culture, but thanks to that coin you were able to exchange something with him, and both benefited. Something exactly like that can do a cryptocurrency or blockchain like Hive but in a digital and modern way. We could hardly do that with the currency of your country, perhaps unless it is the dollar or the euro.
Just as money can connect two people peacefully (it can also create war but that's another topic😂), cryptos globally unite people regardless of language or nationality. And to add, unlike traditional money, I see it difficult for cryptocurrencies to be able to generate wars, due to the transparent and fool-proof nature of blockchains, where everything can be verified. While certain ideas are currently emerging that advocate the strengthening of one's own culture and the rejection of the "outsider", cryptos go beyond ideologies and emotions, but that is another topic that may be for another post.

Excelente!! 🙌🏻 Podríamos llegar que las cryptos al igual que el lenguaje son un resultado de la evolución humana 🤔 con sus altos y bajos, cambios en el proceso etc.. pero sin duda una característica de la evolución del ser humano de despejarse de los métodos económicos antiguos al igual que lengua y nuestra interacción.
