Cuando nació Humanitas se pensó como una comunidad, un lugar para la creación de contenido relacionado con las humanidades. Con el tiempo el equipo fue creciendo y la visión del proyecto ha ido evolucionando. A la fecha de esta publicación el equipo es conformado por 6 personas cosa que ha enriquecido el proyecto ya que hemos conformado un equipo interdisciplinar. Ahora bien, escribo esta publicación porque luego de un par de reuniones, lluvias de ideas y conversaciones en torno a las humanidades, nos hemos planteado nuevos retos y desafíos, pero, no pretendo hablar en nombre del equipo sino que me gustaría exponer mi visión y mi perspectiva sobre lo que nos depara como proyecto.
Cuando me preguntan "¿Qué es Humanitas?" respondo de la siguiente manera:
Humanitas es un proyecto innovador que nació como una simple comunidad de nicho para creadores de contenido, enfocándose esencialmente en las humanidades. Con el tiempo, ha evolucionado hacia un proyecto interdisciplinario que abarca la filosofía, la ingeniería, el desarrollo humano, la teología y la psicología.
Actualmente, en Humanitas nos proyectamos como una startup conformada por un equipo multidisciplinario, apasionado por el potencial de la Web3 para transformar la experiencia de las humanidades en estos entornos digitales.
No quiero pecar de ambicioso, pero luego de un par de conversaciones con jesusalejos sobre las humanidades digitales, me he preguntado ¿Acaso Humanitas responde a las Humanidades Digitales?
Me he respondido sin demasiadas pretensiones que Humanitas podría considerarse como un entorno que se ajusta por lo menos a una característica clave de lo que podríamos pensar que son Humanidades Digitales, como el uso de tecnologías digitales.
Desde la interdisciplinariedad, Humanitas como proyecto ha logrado reúnír a profesionales de diversas áreas, creando un espacio de diálogo y colaboración para explorar las intersecciones entre las humanidades, la tecnología y la Web3.
Como uso de tecnologías digitales, es evidente que nos basamos en entornos blockchain, ya que como comunidad de nicho en las redes sociales de Hive es obvio que se utiliza las herramientas y plataformas de la Web3, para la creación, difusión e interacción con contenido en sus diferentes formatos. Ahora bien, pensar en la creación de contenido original que es fomentado por Humanitas es hablar sobre la producción de contenido en diversos formatos, y para ellos hemos incentivado iniciativas, también en nuestra historia hemos propuesto la elaoración de artículos, en incluso breves ensayos, ahora, hemos ajustado nuestras politicas para seguir impulsando las nuevas formas de expresión como el microblogging, con la intención de difundir conocimientos en las humanidades.
Con el tiempo hemos hecho crecer a la medida de lo posible la comunidad, pero, creo que me gusta pensar en Humanitas como genesis de una comunidad vibrante y colaborativa, donde sus miembros comparten ideas, conocimientos y experiencias, fortaleciendo el aprendizaje y la innovación, además de promover serios debates, y sin duda es de las cosas que me motivan.
A pesar de que Humanitas se erige como un proyecto que responde a la idea de humanidades digitales, no nos hemos quedado solo en lo digital, sino que también hemos ido a entornos un poco más tangibles, promoviendo la web3 para democratizar el acceso al conocimiento. Hemos asistido en dos ocasiones a jornadas filosóficas universitarias, donde he tenido el privilegio de ser ponente y hablar no solo del proyecto sino de Hive.
De modo que hemos tenido un impacto impacto real, Humanitas en su búsqueda de tener un impacto más allá en el mundo digital por medio de la Web3, deseamos promover la educación y difusión humanística y generar entornos de debates donde quizá puedan surgir soluciones y perspectivas sobre problemas sociales de la actualidad.
Así que, Humanitas en resumen podría decir que es un proyecto en constante evolución desde la participación en congresos de filosofía también con un espacio en la revista científica "Mayéutica", lo que demuestra nuestro compromiso con la investigación y el debate académico. Además, que nos proyección como startup evidencia el potencial para convertirse en un actor relevante en el ecosistema de las Humanidades Digitales, siendo pionera en el ecosistema Blockchain.
Quizá uno de los retos que hemos sorteando a medida de nuestras posibilidades es que no contamos con inversión, cosa que pienso ha hecho del camino un poco lento, pero, la convicción y el entusiasmo por creer que es un proyecto prometedor nos ha mantenido firmes, aunque a veces un poco distante. Ahora mismo, estamos pensando en como alcanzar financiamiento, ya que proyectamos el proyecto a largo plazo, en mi caso, cuando pienso en Humanitas pienso a 10 y 20 años, me gusta proyectar con transcendencia.
Me gusta pensar en el futuro de Humanitas como un porvenir bastante prometedor. el proyecto se encuentra en una etapa crucial de desarrollo, donde cada uno de los que conformamos el proyecto dedicamos esfuerzos, tiempo, conocimiento a medida de lo posible, por ahora con planes para:
Expandir la comunidad: Atraer a más personas de diferentes áreas de las humanidades, con intereses para fortalecer la diversidad y el intercambio de ideas.
Desarrollar herramientas y plataformas: Crear herramientas digitales y plataformas innovadoras que faciliten la creación, difusión y consumo de contenido en las humanidades.
Impulsar la investigación y el desarrollo: Generar conocimiento original sobre las Humanidades Digitales y su impacto en la sociedad.
Colaborar con otros proyectos: Fortalecer la colaboración con otras comunidades, proyectos e instituciones en el ámbito de las Humanidades Digitales, tanto dentro como fuera de la blockchain.

Building an interdisciplinary future for the Humanities on the Web3
When Humanitas was born, it was conceived as a community, a place for the creation of content related to the humanities. Over time the team grew and the vision of the project has evolved. As of the date of this publication the team is made up of 6 people which has enriched the project as we have formed an interdisciplinary team. Now, I am writing this publication because after a couple of meetings, brainstorming and conversations around the humanities, we have set ourselves new challenges, but, I do not intend to speak on behalf of the team but I would like to expose my vision and my perspective on what lies ahead of us as a project.
When I am asked "What is Humanitas? " I answer as follows:
Humanitas is an innovative project that was born as a simple niche community for content creators, essentially focusing on the humanities. Over time, it has evolved into an interdisciplinary project that encompasses philosophy, engineering, human development, theology and psychology.
Today, at Humanitas we project ourselves as a startup made up of a multidisciplinary team, passionate about the potential of Web3 to transform the experience of the humanities in these digital environments.
I don't want to be ambitious, but after a couple of conversations with jesusalejos about the digital humanities, I asked myself, does Humanitas respond to the Digital Humanities?
I have answered myself without too much pretension that Humanitas could be considered as an environment that fits at least one key characteristic of what we could think of as Digital Humanities, such as the use of digital technologies.
From interdisciplinarity, Humanitas as a project has managed to bring together professionals from diverse areas, creating a space for dialogue and collaboration to explore the intersections between the humanities, technology and the Web3.
As a use of digital technologies, it is evident that we rely on blockchain environments, since as a niche community in Hive social networks, it is obvious that we use Web3 tools and platforms for the creation, dissemination and interaction with content in different formats. Now, to think about the creation of original content that is encouraged by Humanitas is to talk about the production of content in various formats, and for them we have encouraged initiatives, also in our history we have proposed the elaoration of articles, even short essays, now, we have adjusted our policies to continue promoting new forms of expression such as microblogging, with the intention of disseminating knowledge in the humanities.
Over time we have made the community grow as much as possible, but, I think I like to think of Humanitas as the genesis of a vibrant and collaborative community, where its members share ideas, knowledge and experiences, strengthening learning and innovation, as well as promoting serious debates, and it is certainly one of the things that motivates me.
Although Humanitas stands as a project that responds to the idea of digital humanities, we have not only stayed in the digital, but we have also gone to more tangible environments, promoting web3 to democratize access to knowledge. We have twice attended university philosophical conferences, where I have had the privilege to be a speaker and talk not only about the project but also about Hive.
So we have had a real impact, Humanitas in its quest to have an impact beyond the digital world through Web3, we want to promote education and humanistic dissemination and generate environments for debates where perhaps solutions and perspectives on current social problems can emerge.
So, Humanitas in summary could say that it is a project in constant evolution from participation in philosophy congresses also with a space in the scientific journal "Mayéutica", which demonstrates our commitment to research and academic debate. Moreover, that we are projected as a startup evidences the potential to become a relevant player in the Digital Humanities ecosystem, being a pioneer in the Blockchain ecosystem.
Perhaps one of the challenges that we have overcome to the best of our ability is that we do not have investment, which I think has made the road a little slow, but the conviction and enthusiasm to believe that it is a promising project has kept us firm, although sometimes a little distant. Right now, we are thinking about how to obtain financing, since we are projecting the project in the long term, in my case, when I think of Humanitas I think of 10 and 20 years, I like to project with transcendence.
I like to think of the future of Humanitas as a very promising future. The project is in a crucial stage of development, where each one of us in the project is dedicating efforts, time and knowledge to the extent possible, for now with plans to:
Expand the community: Attract more people from different areas of the humanities, with interests to strengthen diversity and the exchange of ideas.
Develop tools and platforms: Create digital tools and innovative platforms that facilitate the creation, dissemination and consumption of content in the humanities.
Drive research and development: Generate original knowledge about the Digital Humanities and its impact on society.
Collaborate with other projects: Strengthen collaboration with other communities, projects and institutions in the field of Digital Humanities, both inside and outside the blockchain.
