Confieso que al principio lo que más me sedujo de la idea de ser un hiver fue el hecho de poder remunerar por mi contenido. Creo que a todos nos ha pasado lo mismo.
Pero lo cierto es que Hive se ha convertido en algo más. Un universo aún desconocido por completo para mí, pues hasta la fecha solo me he dedicado a postear en mi blog y ha conocer aquellas comunidades que son afines a mis temas y contenidos. Grata sorpresa me he llevado cuando he llegado a preferir Hive más que mis redes sociales tradicionales. Desde hace un mes, no dejo de recomendar y explicar a mis amigos sobre la existencia de un espacio virtual en el que tu creación literaria es protegida y en el que, además, conoces a nuevas personas a las que llegas a considerar como familia. Y es que eso es una verdad rotunda: en las comunidades uno siente ese sentimiento de familiaridad, amor y respeto.
Durante este primer mes, he visto crecer al pequeño grupo de pinareños que ya somos parte de este proyecto. Buena parte nos hemos conocido personalmente y al dialogar pareciera que nos conocemos de toda la vida.
Hay que trabajar mucho y hacerlo con cuidado para que tú contenido logre captar la atención de los lectores. Hay que trabajar mucho para enamorar a las ballenas, para cautivar a los curadores. Y eso demuestra la calidad con la que Hive vela por tus contenido.
Al principio ha sido difícil editar el post, respetar su nomenclatura estética visual... Pero paso a paso se consigue.
Queda mucho por aprender todavía, lo sé. El trabajo y el estudio diario se ocuparán de enmendar todos los errores.
Ahora mismo trabajo en base a entender el algoritmo de horarios y frecuencias para las publicaciones, teniendo en cuenta los votos, las comunidades, la inserción en Discord, las curaciones, etc... Es una investigación que demanda tiempo en la plataforma y también paciencia, mucha paciencia.
Lo cierto es que a solo un mes, mi interés crece. Y agradezco a la vida por poner está experiencia en mis manos.
Para este segundo mes tengo varias pretensiones. Voy a trabajar en base a la creación de contenido audiovisual, hasta ganar confianza y calidad en los materiales que publique en ese formato.
Sueño con crear una comunidad para estimular y apoyar a proyectos de estrenos de Artes Escénicas. Una comunidad donde las recompensas vayan dirigidas a la ayuda económica de próximos estrenos de obras de teatro a compañías independientes de Cuba y el mundo. Es un proyecto, ambicioso, lo sé, pero creo que con mucho estudio se consolide.
Hive me ha demostrado que es posible realizar sueños aquí.
También quiero estrechar lazos de unión con mis colegas cubanos, estimular proyectos en vivo, encuentros, intercambios de experiencia, etc.
Nada es casual. La vida nos ha conectado en esta dimensión para algo.

My first month on Hive
I confess that at the beginning, what seduced me the most about the idea of being a Hive was the fact that I could get paid for my content. I think the same thing has happened to all of us.
But the truth is that Hive has become something more. A universe still completely unknown to me, because so far I have only dedicated myself to post on my blog and to know those communities that are related to my topics and content. I was pleasantly surprised when I came to prefer Hive more than my traditional social networks. For the last month, I have been recommending and explaining to my friends the existence of a virtual space where your literary creation is protected and where, in addition, you meet new people whom you come to consider as family. And that is a resounding truth: in the communities you feel that sense of familiarity, love and respect.
During this first month, I have seen the small group of Pinareños who are already part of this project grow. Most of us have met personally and when we talk to each other it seems as if we have known each other all our lives.
You have to work hard and do it carefully so that your content captures the readers' attention. You have to work hard to make the whales fall in love, to captivate the curators. And that shows the quality with which Hive takes care of your content.
At first it was difficult to edit the post, to respect its visual aesthetic nomenclature? But step by step you get there.
There is still a lot to learn, I know. The daily work and study will take care of correcting all the mistakes.
Right now I work on the basis of understanding the algorithm of schedules and frequencies for the publications, taking into account the votes, the communities, the insertion in Discord, the cures, etc... It is a research that demands time on the platform and also patience, a lot of patience.
The truth is that after only one month, my interest is growing. And I thank life for putting this experience in my hands.
For this second month, I have several pretensions. I will work on the creation of audiovisual content, until I gain confidence and quality in the materials I publish in this format.
I dream of creating a community to stimulate and support projects of Performing Arts premieres. A community where the rewards will be directed to the economic support of upcoming premieres of plays to independent companies in Cuba and the world. It is an ambitious project, I know, but I believe that with a lot of study it will be consolidated.
Hive has shown me that it is possible to make dreams come true here.
I also want to strengthen ties with my Cuban colleagues, to stimulate live projects, meetings, exchanges of experience, etc.
Nothing is casual. Life has connected us in this dimension for something.

That is a good plan, however, I would add commenting and connecting with others too. Engagement is key on Hive and what makes you go on on the long run is not the curators and the whale votes, but your friends and followers.
