La temática es la más adecuada para este mes donde se celebran los temas de los que habla y además, son de mis cosas favoritas de las cuales reflexionar. I am happy to be back in this beautiful community to participate in a great initiative to which my dear friend @filoriologo has also invited me to. The subject is the most appropriate for this month where the topics it talks about are celebrated and they are also one of my favorite things to reflect on. So you can keep reading to find out more about my opinion.
¿Te has preguntado alguna vez que es la consciencia? Muchas veces es algo que asumimos tener en todo momento, la capacidad de reconocer la realidad y a nosotros mismos dentro de ella dándole así un significado. ¿Pero realmente somos siempre conscientes? Aunque me gustaría decir que sí puesto que la vida sería más sencilla de esa forma, la verdad es que no siempre tenemos esa capacidad. En muchísimas ocasiones, muy probablemente más de las que podemos contar, hemos hecho, dicho, pensado o vivido cosas de forma inconsciente por lo que existen cosas que parecen salir «naturalmente», esas que no tenemos que pensar demasiado para hacer y aún así obtenemos los mejores resultados.
También damos muchas cosas por sentado sin saber realmente cómo funcionan, y en más de una ocasión yo di por sentado que la creatividad es algo que tienes o no, que las personas nacen con ese don o simplemente no lo poseen. Por supuesto con los años y mis estudios aprendí que eso no es necesariamente así.
Have you ever wondered what consciousness is? Many times it is something that we assume we have at all times, the ability to recognize reality and ourselves within it giving it a certain meaning. But are we really always conscious? Although I would like to say yes since life would be simpler that way, the truth is that we do not always have that capacity. On many occasions, most likely more than we can count, we have done, said, thought or experienced things unconsciously so there are things that seem to come "naturally", those that we do not have to think too much to do and we still get best results.
We also take many things for granted without really knowing how they work, and on more than one occasion I took for granted that creativity is something you either have or you don't, that people are born with that gift or they simply don't have it. Of course over the years and with my studies I learned that this is not necessarily the case.
Ahora sé que la creatividad es un proceso cognitivo que puede ser estimulado, que no es esa especie de don divino que algunos suertudos tienen sino que en realidad todos podemos llegar a alcanzarla. Influye mucho en la manera en cómo integramos la información para darle un sentido y es ese significado el que puede ser creativo. No sólo de una manera artística puesto que la creatividad puede darse en cualquier aspecto dado que la innovación no se limita a una área exclusiva.
Pero entonces si la realidad y la creatividad es la unión de las partes que adquieren un significado, ¿eso quiere decir que la creatividad en consciente? Pues en parte. Tiene aspectos que por supuesto ya hemos integrado en nuestros mapas mentales y por supuesto eso es información que percibimos conscientemente, pero algunos pedazos de información quedan almacenados en el inconsciente, por lo que no podemos acceder a ellos fácilmente.
Sin embargo, en un proceso creativo muchas cosas parecen simplemente surgir y no sabes exactamente de dónde vienen, pero resulta que vienen de allí, de ese recóndito lugar de la mente del cual no eres consciente. Para mi la creatividad es la innovación de toda aquella información que tienes almacenada en esa experiencia de consciencia y existencia con tu entorno. Es la manera en que integras y manejas toda la información que percibes a diario para darle un nuevo significado. Esto justamente es una capacidad que tenemos todos.
Now I know that creativity is a cognitive process that can be stimulated, that it is not that kind of divine gift that some lucky people have but that in reality we can all achieve it. It greatly influences the way we integrate information to give it meaning and it is that meaning that can be creative. Not only in an artistic way since creativity can occur in any aspect since innovation is not limited to an exclusive area.
But then if reality and creativity is the union of the parts that acquire meaning, does that mean that creativity is conscious? Well, kind of. It has aspects that of course we have already integrated into our mental maps and of course that is information that we consciously perceive, but some pieces of information are stored in the unconscious, so we cannot access them easily.
However, in a creative process many things seem to simply arise and you don't know exactly where they come from, but it turns out that they come from there, from that hidden place in the mind of which you are not aware, not conscious. For me, creativity is the innovation of all the information that you have stored in that experience of consciousness and existence with your environment. It is the way you integrate and manage all the information you perceive every day to give it new meaning. This is precisely a capacity that we all have.
Un ejemplo de creatividad (innovación) son los libros. Las historias alguna vez escritas parten de una base, una información adquirida a también de la experiencia del autor con su propia realidad, pero él/ella toma esos pedazos de realidad y los moldea, los modifica para darles un significado diferente. Es así como García Márquez pensando en niños productos de un incesto escribió sobre bebés con cola de cerdo o como Dante en un momento de reflexión espiritual y pensando en su amada escribió sobre su viaje al infierno. Tomaron cosas cotidianas y las retorcieron hasta darles una nueva forma que si bien recuerda a la original, no es exactamente igual.
En todo ese viaje creativo interfieren las experiencias vividas, los significados que a su vez tienen una influencia social/cultural, y la capacidad del autor para explorar toda la información que pueda tener disponible. Eso es un proceso consciente que puede volverse inconsciente, así como habrá momentos donde «surja la inspiración» y el inconsciente haga de las suyas para volver a ser información consciente. En líneas generales podríamos decir que la creatividad es Tano consciente como inconsciente, un ciclo cambiante que depende de cómo lo manifieste cada quien.
Es así como podemos ver creatividad en los libros y consciencia en la creatividad, estando todo entrelazado para formar así un montón realidades distintas y parecidas a la vez.
An example of creativity (innovation) is books. The stories ever written start from a base, information acquired from the author's experience with his/her own reality, but he/she takes those pieces of reality and molds them, modifies them to give them a different meaning. This is how García Márquez, thinking about children who were products of incest, wrote about babies with pig tails or how Dante, in a moment of spiritual reflection and thinking about his beloved, wrote about his trip to the hell. They took everyday things and twisted them into a new shape that, while reminiscent of the original, is not exactly the same.
Throughout this creative journey, lived experiences, meanings that in turn have a social/cultural influence, and the author's ability to explore all the information that he may have available interfere. That is a conscious process that can become unconscious, just as there will be moments where "inspiration hits" and the unconscious does its thing to become conscious information again. In general terms we could say that creativity is both conscious and unconscious, a changing cycle that depends on how each person manifests it.
This is how we can see creativity in books and consciousness in creativity, everything being intertwined to form a lot of different and similar realities at the same time.

Muy cierto todo lo que dices, a veces nos quedamos asombrados con la creatividad de algunas personas y creemos que son dones que fueron otorgado a un grupo de personas, pero en realidad todos la tenemos, el punto es saber sacarla de ese inconsciente y hacerla consciente. Todos somos capaces de usar esa informacion ahi guardadita en el inconsciente y hacer la mas bella obra en cualquiera de sus expresiones.

Te explicaste muy bien, amiga, y es así, todos podemos ser creativos, la cuestión es estimular esa capacidad frecuentemente. Puede ser consciente o no, pero está y podemos aprovecharla.
