Nace una nueva comunidad en #Hive: @Humanitas y su primera iniciativa consiste en responder unas preguntas sobre las Humanidades. Para responderlas basta con reflexionar un poquito sobre el tema y dar opiniones propias. Agradezco a @joseantpp su publicación, pues me trajo hasta esta interesante comunidad y su iniciativa.
Éstas son las preguntas propuestas, en esta iniciativa de #Humanitas
A new community is born in #Hive: @Humanitas and its first initiative is to answer some questions about the Humanities. To answer them, it is enough to reflect a little on the subject and give your own opinions. I thank @joseantpp for his publication, as it brought me to this interesting community and its initiative. These are the proposed questions, in this #Humanitas initiative1. What are the humanities for you?/ ¿Qué son las humanidades para ti? 2. How important are the humanities?/¿Qué importancia tienen las humanidades? 3. Do you think there is a place for the humanities in this digital age?/¿Crees que hay un lugar para las humanidades en esta era digital? 4. What proposal do you suggest to promote the humanities in Hive?/¿Qué propuesta sugieres para promover las humanidades en Hive?
1. What are the humanities for you?/
¿Qué son las humanidades para ti?Para mí, las humanidades son todo lo que estudia al hombre y su cultura, incluyendo arte, ciencia y religión. Aún cuando tradicionalmente se viene separando ciencias de humanidades, considero que las ciencias deben formar parte de las humanidades porque ellas son parte de la cultura humana, nacen del quehacer humano y de alguna manera se vinculan con la gran madre de todas las ciencias: la filosofía.
For me, the humanities are everything that studies man and his culture, including art, science and religion. Even though sciences have traditionally been separated from the humanities, I believe that the sciences should be part of the humanities because they are part of human culture, they are born of human activity and in some way they are linked to the great mother of all sciences: philosophy.
2. How important are the humanities?/¿Qué importancia tienen las humanidades?
El gran cúmulo de conocimientos que ha alcanzado la humanidad, impide que los abarque una sola persona y, aún más, una sola ciencia, por esa razón se han ido diversificando las ciencias y surgiendo nuevas especializaciones y dentro de éstas, otras. Simplemente con la medicina ya tenemos un excelente y claro ejemplo del galopante aumento de las especializaciones. Pero en la medida que se especializa más el conocimiento se fragmenta más la comprensión de la humanidad y de su protagonista, el ser humano. Las humanidades permiten una visión holocéntrica, integral del hombre(ser humana), tratando temas que no son tratados dentro de las especializaciones científicas.
The great accumulation of knowledge that humanity has achieved prevents it from being covered by a single person and, even more so, by a single science. For this reason, the sciences have been diversifying and new specializations have emerged, and within these, others. Simply with medicine we already have an excellent and clear example of the galloping increase in specializations. But to the extent that knowledge becomes more specialized, the understanding of humanity and its protagonist, the human being, becomes more fragmented. The humanities allow a holocentric, integral vision of man (being human), dealing with issues that are not treated within scientific specializations.
3. Do you think there is a place for the humanities in this digital age?
/¿Crees que hay un lugar para las humanidades en esta era digital? Creo que en todo tiempo serán necesarias las humanidades, el momento actual también requiere de su presencia, música, artes plásticas, literatura, filosofía vital son ingredientes que reivindican al ser humano con su humanidad. Los valores humanos deben penetrar las ciencias y la tecnología, para marchar hacia lo humano de la humanidad, seguir sus propios caminos no debería significar alejarse del hombre como ser integral. La inteligencia artificial y el increíble progreso de la digitalización son demostrativos de la evolución cultural del hombre y su estrecha relación con las humanidades.
I believe that the humanities will be necessary at all times, the current moment also requires their presence, music, plastic arts, literature, vital philosophy are ingredients that vindicate the human being with his humanity. Human values must penetrate science and technology, to march towards the human of humanity, following their own paths should not mean moving away from man as an integral being. Artificial intelligence and the incredible progress of digitization are demonstrative of the cultural evolution of man and his close relationship with the humanities.
4. What proposal do you suggest to promote the humanities in Hive?/
¿Qué propuesta sugieres para promover las humanidades en Hive?Me parece oportuno que sigan realizando iniciativas y/o concursos sobre el tema, en forma tal que los muchos interesados sobre las humanidades tengamos la oportunidad de participar. Colocar como requisito para los participantes, compartir las actividades para que aumente su difusión. La comunidad naciente, #Humanitas, puede convertirse en un camino puntual para reforzar los valores humanos.
I think it is opportune that they continue carrying out initiatives and/or contests on the subject, in such a way that the many interested in the humanities have the opportunity to participate. Place as a requirement for the participants, share the activities to increase their dissemination. The nascent community, #Humanitas, can become a punctual path to reinforce human values

Considero que tanto las humanidades como las ciencias tienen una percepción del mundo que, por separado, no tienen ninguna gracia. Estas deben complementarse para permitir una mejor interpretación de lo que acontece a diario.

Puntuales y atinadas respuestas a estas preguntas planteadas por la naciente comunidad #Humanitas. Efectivamente, la llamadas "humanidades", sin entrar en divisiones, deberían ser el sustrato de todo el conocimiento, pues es lo humano lo que está en juego en él. Saludos, @mllg.
