Another Thursday is here dear friends and it gives us another opportunity to share amazing memories with each other. So, let's go right into it for today.

I have been opportuned to travel alot this year and I have also witnessed so many occasions as well. For this week I want to talk about the four different cultural dance group I have seen this year and how it affected me positively. I have actually shared about some of those occasions here with us and today is all about their cultural dance group. They are four in number, namely:

  1. Atillogwu cultural group. This is one of the most common in the eastern part of Nigeria. You see them perform in almost all occasions in Igbo land. Their dance is always fast and they move their body vigorously. They seem like the best. Though my own opinion
  2. Ikpirikpi ogwu dance group. This is a special kind of dance group that is not to known by people because it is for the Ohafia people of Abia State in Nigeria. They are not always seen around because until you go to that state before meeting them.
  3. Nkwa umuagbogho. This is also a special kind of dance group known for ladies alone. They mostly appear in traditional wedding or white weddings. Sometimes they also performance for any of their member who is getting married.
  4. Ogene dance group. The last and not the least is the ogene group. They are also special group. Though mainly for the male and sometimes the female can also join them. They perform for people to pay them in different occasions.
Most of the cultural dance group makes money from their work because they also see it as their way of making occasions lively a d making money too. When ever I go to any occasion and did not see anyone of these group performing, I won't be happy because everywhere won't be fine or lively.

Thanks for coming around and do have a great weekend ahead
