Last year was a really fun and amazing year for my siblings and me. A program was hosted and sponsored by the local government board and my siblings were opportune to be among the people chosen. This program happened in Lagos state and it is all about skills acquisition. Every skill or whatever was established, is it hair styling or fashion design and many more. This program was held for two weeks, it was the week whereby student were on holiday and instead of them playing around doing nothing. My mom then brought the idea for them to attend this program that was sponsored by the government, so they will learn something during their holiday. Two weeks gone the practice was over, we parents were invited to check on their children performance for this two weeks. I saw alot of young children that also came to this program doing lot of amazing skills. The picture above was the booklet given to parents and I went to represent my mom for my siblings.

We were given a brush as a gift at first and I was a little surprised that is this only what we are receiving for coming to support them but later on we were given some menu as well. I just decided to take the picture of the brush though.

[] ) | Behind the scene, I saw young children during makeup and gele for their partners. This was also part of what they learn during the weeks and this is so amazing to watch. I was faraway from where they are so I was not able to take a cute picture but this was actually beautiful I won't lie. |
This is the view where the sponsors and some important people of the occasion sat down. They represented and helped in the program so well so they were celebrated and were given a seat.
Young electrical engineers then came outside to show their presentation of how they fix a socket on a board. They explained how they fixed it and I will say it was really entertaining and helpful as well. Parent, friends and sponsors clap for them and appreciated their work.  | One thing I love about this engineers work is that their presentation was superb because they drop the step and step of how they came out with this process. We even tested this socket board and it worked perfectly. Parent were not disappointed because they know that the week being used here was not for waste. |
| This is what my sister team and she chooses Art, work and Design. Art is an expression of our thoughts, emotions, intuitions, and desires, but it is even more personal than that. Their art and design was basely and centered on making use of recycled product. | This is a centered table and chair made with tyre and materials from the market. The most recycle product used was just the tyre we know about and their presentation was topnotch | I was so excited when I saw my sister among the people that also presented, they also made fan out of recycled product and use it for our daily life affairs. The fan is really pretty and I decided to take shot of it as well. |

After the presentation from all teams and skill that they have attained, they were given their certificates of skills. My sister said I should take beautiful pictures of her and her friends and they celebrated with a cake with them 😘
Catch them young 2024 was a success and it was productive. My sister still practice and make use of the talent and skill she obtained from that program. This is my participation for #tbt week. Throwback week edition

El año pasado fue muy divertido e increíble para mis hermanos y para mí. La junta del gobierno local organizó y patrocinó un programa y mis hermanos tuvieron la oportunidad de estar entre los elegidos. El programa tuvo lugar en el estado de Lagos y consistía en adquirir habilidades. Se enseñaban todas las técnicas, como peluquería, diseño de moda y muchas más. El programa duró dos semanas, una semana en la que los estudiantes estaban de vacaciones y, en vez de jugar, no hacían nada. A mi madre se le ocurrió la idea de que asistieran a este programa patrocinado por el gobierno para que aprendieran algo durante sus vacaciones. Dos semanas después, los padres fuimos invitados a comprobar el rendimiento de sus hijos durante esas dos semanas. Vi a muchos niños pequeños que también asistieron a este programa haciendo un montón de habilidades increíbles. La foto de arriba era el folleto dado a los padres y fui a representar a mi mamá para mis hermanos.

Nos dieron un cepillo como regalo al principio y yo estaba un poco sorprendido de que es esto sólo lo que estamos recibiendo por venir a apoyar a ellos, pero más tarde nos dieron un poco de menú también. Pero decidí hacer una foto del cepillo.

| []) | Detrás de la escena, vi a niños pequeños durante el maquillaje y gele para sus parejas. Esto también fue parte de lo que aprenden durante las semanas y esto es tan increíble de ver. Yo estaba lejos de donde están por lo que no fue capaz de tomar una foto linda, pero esto era realmente hermoso no voy a mentir. |
Esta es la vista donde los patrocinadores y algunas personas importantes de la ocasión se sentaron. Ellos representaron y ayudaron en el programa tan bien que fueron celebrados y se les dio un asiento.
| A continuación, unos jóvenes ingenieros eléctricos salieron para mostrar su presentación de cómo arreglan un enchufe en una placa. Explicaron cómo lo arreglaron y diré que fue realmente entretenido y útil también. Padres, amigos y patrocinadores les aplaudieron y apreciaron su trabajo. () | Una cosa que me encanta del trabajo de estos ingenieros es que su presentación fue magnífica porque dejaron caer el paso a paso de cómo salieron con este proceso. Incluso probamos esta placa de enchufe y funcionó perfectamente. Los padres no estaban decepcionados porque saben que la semana que se utiliza aquí no era para desperdiciar. | |
| Este es el equipo de mi hermana y ella elige Arte, trabajo y diseño. El arte es una expresión de nuestros pensamientos, emociones, intuiciones y deseos, pero es aún más personal que eso. Su arte y el diseño se basó y se centró en hacer uso de producto reciclado. | Esta es una mesa centrada y silla hecha con neumáticos y materiales del mercado. El producto más reciclado utilizado fue el neumático que conocemos y su presentación fue de primera categoría. Me emocioné mucho cuando vi a mi hermana entre las personas que también presentaron, también hicieron un abanico de productos reciclados y lo utilizan para nuestros asuntos de la vida cotidiana. El abanico es muy bonito y decidí fotografiarlo también. | |

Después de la presentación de todos los equipos y la habilidad que han logrado, se les dio sus certificados de habilidades. Mi hermana dijo que debería tomar fotos hermosas de ella y sus amigos y celebraron con un pastel con ellos 😘.
Atrápalos joven 2024 fue un éxito y fue productivo. Mi hermana aún practica y aprovecha el talento y la habilidad que obtuvo de ese programa. Esta es mi participación para la semana #tbt. Edición de la semana del Throwback.
