Hello there my lovely hivers!!!!
For our midterm activity we had to participate in community or voluntary activity. There's a child friendly space in our department and if I already volunteer on that thing I just have to do a 2 task that helps our community.
I have to take a picture of at least 3 that is connected to our subject's environmental science.

This was the one picture I sent to my teacher, SEGREGATING TRASHES. This is one way that we can help the environment segregating trash from biodegradable and non biodegradable. I didn't have a bin to put the trash so I recycled the sack that I found in our house. There's a lot of bottled water in our area and to make our environment clean, we have to separate the bottled water on the other trash since they do not decompose. It would pile up and may cause floods on the drainage if not separated properly.

This is the second thing, we could save the planet by simply picking up trash on our surroundings. Specifically, those plastics, sanitary napkins, diapers, etc. Little by little we could make a big difference in our community. We have to start with small actions everyday, for us to save the planet. We people need the environment, so we have to take care of it. Especially now that there's a flood happening in Northern cebu, by simple actions we can create a big change if we are together.

Lastly, composing your waste at home this simple way can have a big impact. There are different ways to compost your waste and the thing that I do is burying food scraps just like vegetable leftovers and fruit peels. By doing this simple action we can reduce waste and create natural fertilizer.
Small actions, but they make a big difference. I'm glad it's part of education, and we can only hope that more people take it seriously; we need it... Thank you so much for sharing this anecdote for #TBT Thursdays.
