Espero que todos estén pasando un jueves llenos de muchos recuerdos geniales para compartir en este espacio. Hoy me complace compartirles un par de días llenos de aventuras junto a mi madre el mes pasado específicamente el 24 y 25 de marzo. Resulta que un día antes de mi cumpleaños debía estar en Caracas para realizar un viaje internacional el día posterior. Destino: Medellín - Colombia (pero eso se los contaré en otro post).

I hope everyone is having a Thursday filled with lots of great memories to share in this space. Today I am pleased to share with you a couple of days full of adventures with my mom last month specifically on March 24 and 25. It turns out that one day before my birthday I had to be in Caracas for an international trip the day after. Destination: Medellin - Colombia (but I'll tell you about that in another post).
Ya eran las 7:25 y nuestra salida era a las 8:00 am, pero realmente teníamos horas esperando. Mi hermana, cuñado y mis hermosas sobrinas fueron al terminal de pasajeros para la despedida. Mi hermana tenía malestar el día antes, así que no me esperaba que llegaran, internamente estaba muy conmovida.
It was already 7:25 and our departure was at 8:00 am, but we really had been waiting for hours. My sister, brother-in-law and my beautiful nieces went to the passenger terminal for the farewell. My sister had been sick the day before, so I was not expecting them to arrive, internally I was very moved.
Ver a esas princesas me removió las fibras de mi corazón, Isabella, la niña a mi lado es unida a mi, y cuando nos dijimos adiós me hizo llorar, ella me abrazaba fuerte diciendo que se quería ir conmigo. Alessia, la otra pequeñita estaba inquieta y quería que su papá la tuviera en brazos todo el día.
Mi hermana y mi cuñado me dieron consejos sabios, esos que pondré en práctica porque son una pareja ejemplar y siempre los admiré. Ambos son unos padres maravillosos.
Seeing those princesses tugged at my heartstrings, Isabella, the little girl next to me is close to me, and when we said goodbye it made me cry, she hugged me tightly saying she wanted to go with me. Alessia, the other little one was restless and wanted her daddy to hold her all day.
My sister and brother-in-law gave me wise advice, which I will put into practice because they are an exemplary couple and I have always admired them. They are both wonderful parents.
Esto no es un adiós, pronto nos volveremos a ver y sé que las princesas serán unas niñas muy inteligentes y valientes. Además de que tienen a unos padres que las aman y a una abuelita que las consiente desde el amor. Y yo, a pesar de la distancia, estaré para ustedes. Dejar mi tierra no es fácil, tardé un tiempo antes de tomar este camino, pero sé que todo esto tiene una recompensa más que la material y dejaré mi bandera en alto.
This is not goodbye, soon we will see each other again and I know that the princesses will be very intelligent and brave girls. Besides, they have parents who love them and a grandmother who spoils them with love. And I, despite the distance, I will be there for you. Leaving my homeland is not easy, it took me a while before I took this path, but I know that all this has a reward more than the material one and I will leave my flag high.

Llegamos a las 4:00 pm a Plaza Venezuela y nuestro destino era la casa de unos primos para pasar la noche y la mañana siguiente ir al Aeropuerto Internacional De Maiquetía.
We arrived at 4:00 pm at Plaza Venezuela and our destination was the house of some cousins to spend the night and the next morning to go to the International Airport of Maiquetia.
Les confieso que para llegar a dicho lugar tardamos horas y horas y más horas... (véase en el vídeo) pero mamá y yo nos reímos después del suceso.

Como podrán notar, ya eran las 6:00 de la tarde y ya estaba empezando mi fase del desespero. No me quedó de otra que conservar la calma. Contexto: Mi primo estaba en el trabajo y no nos pudo buscar en la plaza, así que su esposa nos contactó para ubicarnos, pero ella no se supo explicar y dimos mas vueltas que un trompo. Incluso llamé a mi novio (@fernanblog) para que me ayudase a encontrar la residencia donde viven mis primos y ni aún así pudimos hallarla. En fin, llegamos de noche.
As you may notice, it was already 6:00 in the evening and I was starting my despair phase. I had no choice but to stay calm. Context: My cousin was at work and couldn't find us at the plaza, so his wife contacted us to find us, but she couldn't explain and we went around in circles like a spinning top. I even called my boyfriend (@fernanblog) to help me find the residence where my cousins live and we still couldn't find it. Anyway, we arrived at night.

Mi madre y yo dormimos poco, ella a me felicitó por mi cumpleaños y me abrazó muy fuerte con palabras de amor para mi (contuve las lágrimas). Desde la noche hable con la persona que salvó mi día, él estuvo acompañándonos a mi mamá y a mi en esta aventura. La primera estación fue en el Parque Del Oeste.

Se trata nada más y nada menos que de Jesús Linares (@jesuslnrs), una persona con una hermosa calidez humana. Realmente fue un apoyo grandioso en ese momento, ya que yo nunca había salido del país y menos en avión. Como ya saben, Jesús tuvo la oportunidad de viajar a Medellín y conoció a Fernando, incluso su casa ¿Quién mejor que él para guiarme?
Les confieso que he hablado con él unos menes antes y me llegó a decir que el día que salga a Medellín tenga su día libre para podernos conocer en persona y despedirse de mi, quedamos atónitos porque justamente fue su día libre.
Definitivamente emigrar es de valientes, fueron sus palabras. Conocer a Jesús para mi fue genial, aunque en el video bromeé con él, yo si que estaba emocionada de verle la cara y sí, se sorprendió por mi estatura. También tuvo el privilegio de conocer a mi madre y se llevaron bien. Los tres estuvimos juntos hasta el final. Hermano, gracias por acompañar a mi mamá y guiarla de regreso a la casa de mis primos.

Meeting Jesus was great for me, although in the video I joked with him, I was excited to see his face and yes, he was surprised by my height. He also had the privilege of meeting my mother and they got along well. The three of us were together until the end. Mientras esperábamos la hora de ir a Maiquetía, nos dirigimos al Parque Del Oeste Alí Primera. Por dentro es una belleza, fue como sentirme en casa por la vegetación, la flora y la fauna. Jesús, mi mama y yo aprovechamos la oportunidad para conversar mucho, ponernos al día y hacer fotos y videos para Hive. Seguramente Jesús les cuente su versión de los hechos. Definitivamente mi cumpleaños estuvo lleno de sorpresas.
While waiting for the time to go to Maiquetía, we went to Parque Del Oeste Alí Primera. Inside it is beautiful, it was like feeling at home because of the vegetation, flora and fauna. Jesus, my mom and I took the opportunity to talk a lot, catch up and take pictures and videos for Hive. I'm sure Jesus will tell you his side of the story. My birthday was definitely full of surprises.

En el momento que subí esa pequeña colina me sentí la mujer más feliz del mundo porque ese lugar me llenó de mucha emoción, me sentí una niña otra vez. Jesús nos sacó unas hermosas fotografías desde su celular y realmente nos vemos hermosas, son capturas que valen oro para mi. Mi madre también necesitaba un respiro y salirse de la rutina a otro nivel.
The moment I climbed that little hill I felt like the happiest woman in the world because that place filled me with so much emotion, I felt like a little girl again. Jesus took some beautiful pictures of us from his cell phone and we really look beautiful, they are captures that are worth gold to me. My mother also needed a break and to get out of the routine to another level.

Amor mio.... este dia el mejor de la galaxia. porque conocí a Jesús y también compartí con mi mamá esta grata experiencia y el hecho de que nos acompañase hasta el aeropuerto habla muy bien de él.
