RE: All Clay and No Work

in Art.4 months ago

I see art all around me, and am drawn to what I call the "beautiful desolation" of a once grand old building, for instance. As a boy, I was fascinated about the seemingly random patterns found in nature that weren't so random after all. The little things is life that make us smile can mean a lot. :)

Same here. I often find old, decaying stuff ( especially buildings ) more beautiful than shiny new things. Probably because it reminds me of our own transience/ mortality.
And I am still that 'little boy' who is fascinated by repeated 'perfect' patterns in nature,
like a snail shell or a rolled up fern.
