These are some replacement Tree Markers and the new ones. In addition, my husband rescued 2 wild rose bushes (31) and put them in a box to make sure they survive so he can multiply them around the property as well as trees.
This year we planted so many trees - now we have 56 - that we didn't have time to do anything but water them - so no work on our home at all this year. It now takes us about 12 hours to water the trees enough to survive the blazing heat of the summer week while we are stuck in the city.
This year we also discovered that Home Depot slashes the prices of their fruit trees in June-July - and we bought a ton of apple trees - not my favorite kind at all though - Red Delicious are mealy in my opinion, but my husband said that his uncle said that they survive out there in those conditions, the best. Maybe they will be more tasty growing in such extreme cold and heat than what you get at the store.
Next year, we are taking a few years off to work on our home - I will likely be watering the trees we have already planted while my husband works on our house.
