Los dientes premolares o también llamados como bicúspides poseen una raíz que desembocan en dos puntas. Son ocho dientes en total, de los cuales podemos apreciar cuatro en la parte superior y cuatro en la parte inferior, en cada lateral podemos apreciar dos de ellos, siendo así el primer y segundo premolar.
Los premolares se ubican detrás de los dientes caninos y se encuentran por delante de los molares.
Pasan a formar parte importante de la dentición definitiva, siendo así piezas fundamentales de los dientes permanentes, cuidarlos es importantes para formar una correcta sonrisa.
El primer premoral o también llamado primer bicúspide: la erupción del diente superior entra a la edad de los 10 a 11 años, mientras que la del diente inferior ocurre entre los 10 a 12 años de edad.
El segundo premoral o también llamado segundo bicúspide: la erupción del diente superior entra en erupción entre los 10 a 12 años de edad, mientras que el diente inferior entra en erupción entre los 11 a 12 años de edad.

The premolar teeth or also called as bicuspids have a root that ends in two tips. There are eight teeth in total, of which we can see four in the upper part and four in the lower part, on each side we can see two of them, thus being the first and second premolars.
The premolars are located behind the canine teeth and are in front of the molars.
They become an important part of the final dentition, thus being fundamental pieces of the permanent teeth, taking care of them is important to form a correct smile.
