La nueva realidad que nos ha impuesto la pandemia ha permitido que mi país se terminara de modernizar y hacer masivo el uso de la tecnología. Ya es casi de uso común el teletrabajo, las vídeos conferencias, y sobre todo el uso de las aplicaciones. El uso de estas tecnologías ha contribuido a solucionar muchos problemas domésticos.
The new reality that the pandemic has imposed on us has allowed my country to finish modernizing and making massive use of technology. Teleworking, video conferences, and especially the use of applications are almost in common use. The use of these technologies has contributed to solving many domestic problems.

En esta semana, en una de mañana lluviosa, mis padres y mis hermanos fueron de consulta médica, quedándome en casa atendiendo las curaciones y escribiendo mis post para las curaciones respectivas. La cita médica estaba prevista para que ellos retornaran a nuestra casa antes del mediodía, ya que tanto mi hermano gemelo como mi papá tenían compromisos laborales a las 2 de la tarde. Pero estamos en Venezuela: ¡Aquí nada sale como se planifica!
This week, on a rainy morning, my parents and my brothers went for a medical consultation, staying at home attending to the cures and writing my post for the respective cures. The medical appointment was scheduled for them to return to our house before noon, since both my twin brother and my father had work commitments at 2 in the afternoon. Al disponerme a estar presente en mi curación de la mañana y mis padres llegando al consultorio nos ha sorprendido un apagón, un corte de luz inesperado e imprevisto que dejo sin energía eléctrica a más de la mitad de la ciudad de Maturín. ¡Vaya calamidad!
As I was preparing to be present for my morning healing and my parents arriving at the office, we were surprised by a blackout, an unexpected and unforeseen power outage that left more than half of the city of Maturín without electricity. What a calamity!

Ese día estaba previsto que yo me encargara de adelantar parte de la comida para que cuando llegara mi mamá solo terminarla y servir. Pero les cuento que nuestra cocina funciona con energía eléctrica. Así que llegada la hora del medio día no había nada que comer.

Ante esta situación y con la incertidumbre de cómo resolver el almuerzo decidimos utilizar por primera vez una reconocida App de venta de comida de la zona. Aunque no todos estuvieron muy de acuerdo con que se descargara esta aplicación y menos que se ordenara comida por este medio tecnológico. ¡Jajá mi papá aun no confía mucho en las operaciones comerciales electrónicas!
Faced with this situation and with the uncertainty of how to solve lunch, we decided to use for the first time a recognized App for the sale of food in the area. Although not everyone was very in agreement with the download of this application and less that food was ordered by this technological means. Haha my dad still doesn't have much confidence in electronic business operations!
Todos votamos y se decidió utilizar la App conocida como Pedidos Ya, nuestra sorpresa ha sido la rapidez con que entregan el servicio, la comida llega correctamente envasada, con la temperatura acorde de una comida que viene rodando, la educación y trato del motorizado ha sido impecable.
We all voted and it was decided to use the App known as Orders Now, our surprise has been the speed with which the service is delivered, the food arrives correctly packaged, with the temperature according to a meal that has been rolling, the education and treatment of the motorized vehicle has been impeccable.
