Ayer dediqué algo de tiempo para seguir avanzando con las hojas de referencias y arte conceptual del proyecto “Ángel Guardián”.
Esta vez, dediqué tiempo al diseño estilo anime de Kyrsiel. Realicé su dibujo en su faceta como ángel y como estudiante humano tomando en cuenta las expresiones de acuerdo a su rol.
Para la definición de luz y sombras, usé sólo 4 colores: azul y violeta para las sombras primarias y secundarias, rojo y amarillo para la iluminación.
A veces, tengo la sensación que realizo muchas sombras en su cabello, pero luego de verlo de esta forma, me di cuenta que realmente no eran tantas. Considerando la simplificación que requieren los diseños para que la animación sea más rápida de hacer, estoy aplicándola sin que se pierdan detalles importantes.
También quiero que tengan el toque del anime old school hecho a mano, con un lineart fuerte y uniforme. Encontré entre los lápices uno llamado “lápiz de diseño”, que me ha resultado bastante útil para esto.
Otro de los puntos que estoy tomando en cuenta son las similitudes y diferencias que hay entre Kyrsiel y Gersiel.
El estilo de peinado es algo similar entre ambos, pero Kyrsiel lo tiene más desordenado de modo que refleje su personalidad descuidada. En cuanto a la forma del rostro, ambos al ser ángeles tienen facciones delicadas, pero Kyrsiel es un adolescente por lo que sus formas son más redondeadas mientras que Gersiel como adulto, tiene rasgos un poco más cuadrados.

Luego trabajaré en su hoja de expresiones. Seguro será divertido porque Kyrsiel es demasiado expresivo tanto facial como corporalmente. Creo que después me enfocaré en alguno de los personajes femeninos para variar.

Yesterday, I spent some time advancing with the reference sheets and conceptual art for the "Guardian Angel" project.
This time, I focused on the anime-style design of Kyrsiel. I drew both his angel and human student personas, considering the expressions according to his roles.
For defining light and shadows, I used only 4 colors: blue and violet for the primary and secondary shadows, and red and yellow for the lighting.
At times, I feel like I'm creating too many shadows in his hair, but after looking at it this way, I realized that there weren't actually as many. Considering the simplification required for designs to make the animation quicker, I'm applying it without losing important details.
I also want them to have the touch of old-school anime, with strong and uniform line art. I found a pencil called "design pencil" among the pencils, which has been quite useful for this.
Another point I'm considering is the similarities and differences between Kyrsiel and Gersiel.
The hairstyle is somewhat similar between both, but Kyrsiel's is more disheveled to reflect his careless personality. In terms of facial shape, both being angels have delicate features, but Kyrsiel being a teenager has more rounded shapes while Gersiel as an adult has slightly more square features.

Next, I'll work on his expression sheet. It's sure to be fun because Kyrsiel is very expressive both facially and bodily. I think afterwards, I'll focus on one of the female characters for a change.
