Beware of the zombie virus

Maybe one day you will find that your browser says that your certificates have expired and you will not be able to browse.

Do you know why this happens?

Google Chorome case: @rubenp

All computers that connect to the web must leave a record, when we go through certain places, that are commonly known as "visit" for search engines like Google, position your website among the first searches, it is necessary to gain visits on the page.

This record leaves a trace, from which address and when was the last time you visited that web address.

Browsers currently have a way to check if the access log is adequate or not, for the user to enter the navigation, that is to say that its parameters are not altered, such as place address, time and date, the latter two are the ones that respond to the certificate error.

This occurs when the time and date of our computer is not correct, because you try to navigate with a false date, which can mean "it is not a time travel", but rather a problem of zombie computers, which artificially create traffic on web pages, to better position themselves in searches.

So what is a Zombie PC?

There are malware that work in the background and use our internet to generate traffic on a page or server, sometimes with the intention of positioning the page, sometimes to collapse its service.

That is to say, our computer works for others, like Zombie, sometimes these certificates help to detect a small part of the computers that are being manipulated, from different corners of the world, but the truth is that this is out of their hands, because they are difficult to detect and identify.

On the other hand, browser brokering is more common now than ever, due to remote services, WPN that change your address so that you appear connected from another country and now this works by having your computer connect to a server and that server connects to the page for you, in fact licenses are paid to obtain these services.

In conclusion, if your computer shows a certificate error do not panic just update your time, date of the computer, and this will be solved also if you want to know if your computer is in Zombie mode check the task manager and locate the network consumption area you can see what programs are using your internet or call your trusted technician.
