I think I'm done typing. Hopefully all these words have loosened up something inside my head that will allow me to find the syntax error I keep on seeing in bold letters. The syntax error that will haunt me in my dreams tonight.
Well my friend, I dunno exactly what kind of "syntax errors" you are getting. But let me tell you that I was recently also trying to create a very interesting dApp for Hive that also gave me some errors in its operation and they all had to do with the updating and migration of the old legacy "condenser api" to the newer HAF framework.
Most of the message errors I was getting were:
- (Error: Failed to fetch)
- (Error: HTTP error! status: 400)
- (Error: HTTP error! status: 502)
All these errors were thrown at me when selecting, using and invoking the different api nodes currently available for Hive and that you can find in this page: https://beacon.peakd.com
Only two of the available nodes on that page of Peakd were not giving errors, but unfortunately my dApp was not extracting or displaying the data I expected and how I expected it. So, basically, it wasn't working as expected, despite not receiving any errors at the beginning.
I don't know if my problems with the code and the errors I got are similar to yours. But I'm telling you this because this migration from the old Condenser code to HAF to invoke nodes and respond correctly to server requests apparently causes many of these syntax errors in the development of new dApps for the Hive blockchain. So, I hope you'll tell me later what kind of errors you're getting specifically.
And as for grandmas being able to code themselves an app to order to their little robot to walk her dog and make coffee. Yeah, that's already happening with old ladies becoming into Prompt Tech Gurus. I've seen some. So, bet whatevah you want that your testicles will be safe. };)
lol
thanks mate
