Here is the new prompt for the Midnight Owls:
What will your shadow say about you being awake this late?
I thought to myself today that, as midnight owls, it would be interesting to see what we would have to say about our shadows looking at us staying up this late at night. Would it be a judgmental gaze, or is your shadow already an accomplice to your late-night activities?
It doesn't matter how your write-ups go, just feel free to express your thoughts, and I know from previous posts I have read, we midnight owls sure do have a lot to say. Keep it creative and exciting. Within this post, you can read about what my shadow has to say. Until then, here is a highlight post from the previous prompt:

Now, let us talk about what my shadow has to say about me keeping late nights.
Lately, I have to admit that my shadow has been acting like an African parent towards my late-night shenanigans. Always standing there and looking at me with that judgmental look, like What does this child think he is doing. Is it past his bedtime? Even last night, I could admit for sure I saw that look again right before turning on the bulb in my room. A part of me even thinks that if my shadow could talk like the hormone monsters in the Netflix Big Mouth cartoon, I am sure it would tell me I am now feeling like an individual who is above the bedtime curfew of 9 pm or less, simply because I am the administrator of the midnight community.
Let me be honest, I am kind of relieved that my shadow cannot talk at the moment. If not, it would be asking for fair compensation for all the late nights I have kept it awake because I was watching a movie, talking to someone, playing online chess, or even when I was overthinking a thing or two. It is not hard to think about, but this shadow should be thankful to me as well. I compensate for it through my late morning naps, where I deliberately wake up late since I have been up all night. A whole lot goes on at night for me, and that is something I have to find a way to deal with.
Things are changing, so is my sleep schedule. I know my shadow would say that is not an excuse, but I am a midnight owl, and there is no turning back.
