Howdy to you all, my fellow Midnight Owls,

Here is the new prompt for the Midnight Owls:

What will you tell your past self about midnight?

The last midnight has been having some exciting posts about a certain post with past prompts, which has made this community busy for a while. The interesting entries from midnight owls have talked about movies, what midnight means to you, games you play at midnight, nice music, and so on.

This time, we will be doing something new with the prompt title. Let us talk about something you will say to yourself when you were much younger, especially if you were scared of the dark.

Growing up as a young kid, I used to be scared of the dark, especially after watching a horror movie. I remember watching a horror movie at night when I was watching a horror movie with the family. I do not remember the title of the movie, but I sure remember that I could not go to the toilet for a pee. It was horrible because I was super pressed. This made me feel uncomfortable with the dark. I became scared of it ever since that day.

Before I move over to what I will tell myself right now, let's look at some highlights of a couple of posts from the last prompts.

Now up next is what I will tell myself about midnight.

Honestly, I will tell myself, this will pass. Whatever you are scared of will surely pass only with time. When I was scared of the night, it limited me from a whole lot of things. Even till date it still hunts me sometimes when I go out. I do not stay out for long, I am worried about what will happen all long at night long. I missed out a couple of a lot of things and even outing all because of a single fear.

Here is the thing with fear: it comes with limitation, slowly, without you knowing it. You become more scared of certain things faster than you know it. You are only with fear, and you have missed out on a couple of night parties.

Then, when I was much older, I realized there was not much to be scared of. What I was more scared of was my imagination of things and how it can run wild. Having a wild imagination of what might not even happen, and making my heart beat faster than I imagine it could. It is all a product of the bite being a whole lot less worse compared to its bite. And it caused limitations.

Share with the owls what you will tell your past self about midnight?
