Midnight Letters Prompt #8: What would you tell that TV Remote that disappears every midnight

Howdy to you all, my fellow Midnight Owls,

Here is the new prompt for the Midnight Owls:

What would you tell that TV Remote that disappears every midnight?

Last week had some interesting entries from the Midnight owls and it is nice to see how creative we can get with our prompt. Hence one of the purposes of this community is for midnight owls to share stuff they think about, feel, and above all something they created with their minds during midnight.

So far, it has been amazing not that I'm not the only midnight owl out there. There are more of us like that out there and we have yet to meet them. Still keeping on with the playful tone with our prompts, I look forward to what the midnight owls have to share this time around about that annoying TV remote that goes missing every night.

There is a striking difference in occurrences that happen in each household but what just happens to happen to mine is the late-night disappearance of my TV remote. All could be going on fine and well before 12 midnight without any form of stress, then all of a sudden the remote goes missing when I least expect it.

So I've decided to write down a thing or two I would like to pass on to my remote when it resurfaces. I am going to try my best not to be too personal or harsh on that remote although it has gotten on my last nerve.

My remote that belongs to me, I would like to inform you first of all that you are a crucial member of this household and I hope you know you have access to all my unwanted episodes of TV shows on Netflix. I didn't want to say anything earlier on but your absence is becoming alarming and I have noticed it not once, or twice. Do not be offended when I ask, Where are you at midnight?

Are you working outside jobs I am not aware of because this absence of yours can no longer be tolerated. The first time was a fling but now it is a pattern you consistently exhibit.

I know I am a tough boss on you but put yourself in my shoes, will you be happy when your staff goes off duty with dropping a single notice? That's unprofessional and I hope you return sooner than expected. If not you leave me no other choice but to start looking for a replacement.
