I welcome you all to this week's prompt, and I will be sharing a very interesting topic with you. To my shadow, am writing this letter to you.. Oh my Shadow..!! How precious you are to me.. You're awake again here with me at this late hours. Its feels so calm and unwavering. Midnight isn't just a time for you, because you stay beside me, stretched long by the quiet night. People actually think that late hours means loneliness, bit I know better now with you. Dear shadow, you stay awake because It feels your mind is alive, carrying thoughts, holding dreams, and gently unfolding like a settling besides my heartbeat.*
Being awake with me at midnight doesn't mean you're lost. It rather means that you're searching, growing, and haven't given up on me, regardless. And am writing this letter to remind you that even in your darkest hours, you're never entirely alone, because we are one and together in this. You're a creature of the night. We share secrets while the world sleeps, a quiet bond, a sense of shared solitude in the late hours. You've been my only preference and choose to be always present when others aren't.
