Greetings!

Monday is a day known to start a week in my part of the country. Though, if we look into the gregorian calendar very well, it always starts with Sunday, but that's the calendar, but looking at the calendar of the heart, Monday is the start of a new week.
The reason Monday is known to be the start of a new week to me is connected to the day being the working day of the week and for this reason, it marks the end of a weekend and the beginning of a week days when work is at the center stage.
So, in response to the topic of the prompt in the midnight letters, I would like to write a letter to the person who invented Monday.
To the person who invented Monday, I would like to thank you for your invention of a day that's been characterized as a day of due diligence. A day people believe to be a day of work. Monday is a day where people buckle up their shoes, put on their shirts, blouse trousers and skirts and go out to look for their daily bread after a weekend of rest.
So, for someone to have invented a day of diligence, hardwork and seriousness, I think that person deserves an accolade as well as an award for his or her invention.
Aside from this, I would also like to thank the inventor of Monday for bringing with the day an aura of making people believe that whatever we start our day with on a Monday will surely go on with us till the end of that week on Saturday.
As for some people, they believe that if you start your Monday with borrowing, then there's this probability of borrowing our ways throughout that week, if it's late coming such would not end on a Monday but to the end of the week and this is what's currently happening to me this week.
Monday is known to be a special day amongst all the other days and this is not far-fetched but because of it being the first working day after the weekend and also, because of the belief that whatever you start your day with on Monday would sure continue till the end of that week.
In conclusion, I would like to thank and appreciate the inventor of Monday for giving us the opportunity to always wake up and prepare for a day which is full of transactions which would on the other way round help us to make ends meet for ourselves and families.
This is my entry to the midnight letters community weekly prompt.
Thanks for reading.
