That really resonates with what I was trying to express. Sometimes the people who seem the happiest on the outside are the ones carrying the heaviest weight inside.
It’s not easy at all to keep showing up every day while dealing with things no one else can see. And when someone has to do that for too long, even a smile can become a kind of mask.
