Friendly's was my maternal grandmother's favorite place to go eat! We had them in New Jersey growing up, as well, so I remember going with her on occasion when we were little. Of course what's not to love about that place as a kid! Just the name evokes so many memories of her. I'm sure she would approve of the ice cream choices, as well. I feel like I remember the peppermint with the white ice cream and traditional candy cane mixed in, as well. I can almost taste in my mind that icy hit of mint from the first bite!
