Una de mis cosas favoritas en la vida son los planes que involucren salir a conocer algún lugar nuevo, ver o comer cosas nuevas, y estar en ambientes donde se pueda pasar un rato agradable. Hace casi una semana mi tía me invitó a acompañarla a la Feria del Libro, al principio no tenía muchas ganas porque no se había planificado previamente, yo no organice mis cosas en base a eso y tampoco tenía ropa para la ocasión (ese fin de semana no estuve en mi casa), pero al final decidí ir pese a todo jajaj, ya que bueno, tampoco es que tenía una lista grande de cosas por hacer, y nunca antes había asistido tampoco a una Feria del Libro.
One of my favorite things in life are plans that involve going out to see new places, seeing or eating new things, and being in environments where you can have a nice time. Almost a week ago my aunt invited me to accompany her to the Book Fair, at first I was not very eager because it had not been previously planned, I did not organize my things based on that and I did not have clothes for the occasion (that weekend I was not at home), but in the end I decided to go despite everything hahahah, because well, it is not that I had a big list of things to do, and I had never attended a Book Fair before either.
Filven 2023 se llevó a cabo en El Laguito, donde también se dio hace unos meses la Feria del Café; y teniendo ya esas dos experiencias puedo decir que es un buen lugar para este tipo de eventos. La decoración y ambientación fue muy bonita, hubo diferentes stands de editoriales tanto nacionales como internacionales, actividades recreativas para niños, y lo que me fue más significativo de todo, espacios únicos de exhibición, compra y degustación de artesanía y productos de nuestras culturas indígenas. Primera vez en mi vida que pude estar tan cerca de estas personas que representan parte de la cultura del país, tienen una energía muy bonita y es fascinante ver a las mujeres tejiendo o probar cositas provenientes del Amazonas.
Además, también hubo un espacio dedicado a la exhibición de Obras del artista colombiano Fernando Botero. De forma resumida, la Feria estuvo llena de mucha arte, cultura, entretenimiento y conocimiento. Que siguiendo este último punto, me gustó mucho reencontrarme con libros que marcaron un antes y un después en mi vida significativamente. Durante la pandemia, adquirí el hábito de la lectura, sobre todo de crecimiento personal, leí libros como: El Club de las 5am, Los Cuatro Acuerdos, El Sutil Arte de que te importe un Carajo, entre otros. Todos los mencionados los vi a la venta, y hasta quisiera volver a leer en físico; aparte que también me llamaron la atención otros, pero como les mencioné en un principio, yo no sabía de esta feria y por lo tanto, no tenía recursos para comprarme cositas en el momento...
Filven 2023 was held in El Laguito, where the ItalicCoffee Fair was also held a few months ago; and having already had those two experiences I can say that it is a good place for this type of event. The decoration and ambiance was very nice, there were different stands of national and international publishers, recreational activities for children, and what was most significant for me, unique spaces for exhibition, purchase and tasting of handicrafts and products of our indigenous cultures. First time in my life that I could be so close to these people who represent part of the culture of the country, they have a very nice energy and it is fascinating to see women weaving or tasting little things from the Amazon.
In addition, there was also a space dedicated to the exhibition of works by Colombian artist Fernando Botero. In short, the Fair was full of art, culture, entertainment and knowledge. Following this last point, I really enjoyed meeting again with books that marked a before and after in my life significantly. During the pandemic, I acquired the habit of reading, especially personal growth, I read books like: The 5am Club, The Four Agreements, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck, among others. I saw all of the above mentioned books on sale, and I would even like to read them again in physical format; besides, others also caught my attention, but as I mentioned at the beginning, I did not know about this fair and therefore, I did not have the resources to buy little things at the moment...

Aaaay yo también he ido varias veces a esta feria. Me ha encantado. En especial porque mi pueblito es parte de los homenejeados. En estos días también hare una publicación relacionada a mi experiencia.
