Aguada Grande es un pequeño pueblo ubicado en el estado Lara, perteneciente al municipio Urdaneta, capital de la Parroquia San Miguel. Fue en este pequeño pueblo donde tuve la oportunidad de disfrutar de mi infancia y mi adolescencia.
Aunque actualmente no tengo la oportunidad de visitarlo con la frecuencia que lo hacía mientras estaba en la universidad, fue en este pueblo el que me dio muchos momentos de felicidad y tranquilidad. En él disfrutaba de mis amigos, con quienes desde niño disfrutábamos sanamente, sin el peligro que se vivía en muchos sectores del país. Donde los índices de delincuencia son nulos, una tranquilidad que nunca se ha visto inmutada con el pasar de los años.
En este pequeño paraíso, caminábamos los fines de semana alrededor de 28 kilómetros, para ir a disfrutar de una pequeña cascada llamada El Guay, cosa que acostumbrábamos a hacer desde niños. El cansancio no era un impedimento, ya que las aventuras que allí vivíamos, nos hacían olvidar el kilometraje que nos tocaba caminar. Fue sin duda una infancia muy sana llena de miles de aventuras.
Esta es la entrada al pueblo. La calle principal aún mantiene casas coloniales. Es un pueblo que te hacía olvidar el estrés de la ciudad, donde podías disfrutar de las amistades y compartir el pan de Tunja, un rico y delicioso pan que en las tardes acostumbramos a compartir con café con leche, y disfrutar de las tertulias de los más grandes, en las que se hablaban desde mitos y recetas hasta lo que le pasó a la vecina.
Fue aquí donde di mis primeros pasos en el fútbol, gracias a mi padre que me enseñó el amor por este deporte y lo disfrutaba al máximo. Gracias a este deporte tuve la oportunidad de hacer grandes amigos, con los cuales aún me mantengo en contacto.
En esta foto, se veia a mi padre quien representaba a Aguada Grande, y tambien tuvo la oportunidad de representar al Estado Lara en unos juegos Nacionales.

Esta foto fue tomada recientemente por un amigo, un atardecer que Dios nos permitió vivir. Hoy sin duda alguna recuerdo mi pueblo con mucho amor y profunda tristeza, debido a que hoy en día si decidiera visitarlo, no tendría muchas personas a quien visitar, producto de la diáspora que está atravesando nuestro país, donde semanalmente decenas y decenas de jóvenes han dejado nuestro pueblo. Hoy en día la mayoría de los jóvenes están dejando el pueblo semana tras semana. Sin duda alguna lo recuerdo con mucho amor, y hoy me lleno de tristeza porque ya no quedan muchos jóvenes en mi pueblo.

Aguada Grande is a small town located in the state of Lara, belonging to the Urdaneta municipality, capital of the San Miguel parish. It was in this small town where I had the opportunity to enjoy my childhood and adolescence.
Although I currently do not have the opportunity to visit it as often as I did while I was in college, it was in this town that gave me many moments of happiness and tranquility. In this small paradise, we used to walk around 28 kilometers on weekends to enjoy a small waterfall called El Guay, something we used to do since we were children. The tiredness was not an obstacle, since the adventures we lived there made us forget the mileage we had to walk. It was undoubtedly a very healthy childhood full of thousands of adventures.
This is the entrance to the town. The main street still has colonial houses. It is a town that made you forget the stress of the city, where you could enjoy the company of friends and share the bread of Tunja, a rich and delicious bread that we used to share in the afternoons with coffee with milk, and enjoy the conversations of the older people, in which they talked about everything from myths and recipes to what happened to the neighbor.
It was here where I took my first steps in football, thanks to my father who taught me the love for this sport and enjoyed it to the fullest. Thanks to this sport I had the opportunity to make great friends, with whom I still keep in touch.
