[ESP/ENG] Visita al espectacular Zoológico de Chorzów, Polonia

Hola a todos! El domingo pasado finalmente Pawel y yo decidimos ir a conocer el gran zoológico en la ciudad de Chorzów de Polonia. La verdad es que desde que llegué a Polonia teníamos planeado visitar este lugar pero por cualquier razón nunca fuimos hasta este día, y la pasamos muy bien, lo mejor de todo es que el clima este día ayudó bastante pues estaba haciendo 21 grados con un hermoso y radiante sol y yo estaba feliz porque finalmente ya puedo usar mis vestidos y ropa de verano.

Hello everybody! Last Sunday Pawel and I finally decided to go to visit the big zoo in the city of Chorzów in Poland. The truth is that since I arrived in Poland we had planned to visit this place but for whatever reason we never went until this day, and we had a great time, the best of all is that the weather this day helped a lot as it was 21 degrees with a beautiful and radiant sun and I was happy because I can finally wear my summer dresses and clothes.

Debo confesar que Pawel fue muy inteligente este día, primero al decidir estacionar el carro en el centro comercial que solo estaba a unos 15 minutos caminando desde el zoológico, pues este domingo había muchisima gente y mucha cola para poder estacionar el carro, además porque apenas llegamos a la entrada del zoológico nos dimos cuenta que había una gran cola de personas para comprar las entradas y apenas la ví se me quitaron las ganas de entrar pero Pawel decidió verificar por la página del zoológico que podiamos comprar en línea con tarjeta y para nuestra sorpresa si se pudo, y solo tardamos un par de minutos a diferencia de hacer esa grandisima cola, aún me sigo preguntando porque las demás personas no hicieron lo mismo jajaja.

I must confess that Pawel was very smart this day, first by deciding to park the car in the shopping center that was only about 15 minutes walk from the zoo, because this Sunday there were many people and a long queue to park the car, also because as soon as we arrived to the entrance of the zoo we realized that there was a big line of people to buy the tickets and as soon as I saw it I didn't want to go in but Pawel decided to verify through the zoo page that we could buy online with a credit card and to our surprise we could, and it only took us a couple of minutes instead of making that huge line, I still wonder why the other people didn't do the same hahaha.

Como ven, las entradas costaron 26 zlotys cada una, es decir, un poco más de 6 dólares, solo mostramos el código y automáticamente se desbloqueaba el molinete para entrar. Una vez allí, me quedé sorprendida de lo grande y hermoso que es este zoológico, y recuerdo que el primer animal que vimos fueron los grandes rinocerontes.

As you can see, the tickets cost 26 zlotys each, that is, a little more than 6 dollars, we just showed the code and it automatically unlocked the turnstile to enter. Once there, I was amazed at how big and beautiful this zoo is, and I remember the first animal we saw were the big rhinos.

Nos quedabamos un rato observando y fotografiando los animales que más llamaron nuestra atención como las altas jirafas comiendo su comida desde lo alto. Hay muchas cosas para fotografiar aquí y esa es una de las cosas que me encantó, además muchas personas disfrutando este día al igual que nosotros, y es que sin duda era un hermoso día para ir al zoológico.

We stayed for a while observing and photographing the animals that caught our attention like the tall giraffes eating their food from the top. There are many things to photograph here and that is one of the things that I loved, plus many people enjoying this day just like us, and it was certainly a beautiful day to go to the zoo.

Los tigres tienen una especie de vidrio para protección y estos estaban dormidos, con un trozo de carne al lado, así que solo los observamos un par de segundos. También vimos un tierno panda pequeño protegido con un vidrio también. Más tarde y lo que me soprendió bastante fue ver pinguinos, pues creo que nunca ví uno antes más que en televisión, pero supongo por el calor estaban adentro de las rocas pero pudimos verlos de lejos y tienen un gran piscina para ellos.

The tigers have some kind of glass for protection and these were asleep, with a piece of meat next to them, so we only watched them for a couple of seconds. We also saw a cute little panda protected with a glass as well. Later and what surprised me a lot was to see penguins, I think I never saw one before except on TV, but I guess because of the heat they were inside the rocks but we could see them from far away and they have a big pool for them.

Los monitos, esta parte fue muy divertida, porque uno de ellos le estaba buscando granos a otro y eso me recuerda a alguien que no voy a decir quien soy jajaja. También vimos una nutria bañandose y un estanque un poco sucio, también lémures y eso me recordo a una gran serie de mi infancia que ahora mismo no recuerdo el nombre.

The little monkeys, this part was very funny, because one of them was looking for pimples to another one and that reminds me of someone that I will not say who I am hahaha. We also saw an otter bathing and a pond a little dirty, also lemurs and that reminded me of a great series of my childhood that I can't remember the name right now.

Leopardos también dormidos, creo que esta especie de animal es muy floja jaja, más monos salvajes protegidos con unas grandes rejas para que las personas no le echen comida y un grande y hermoso pavo real caminando por aquí al aire libre o quiza solo se escapó, no lo sé jajaja pero muchos nos quedamos un rato observandolo de lo hermoso que es.

Leopards also sleeping, I think this species of animal is very lazy haha, more wild monkeys protected with big fences so people don't throw food at them and a big and beautiful peacock walking around here in the open air or maybe it just escaped, I don't know haha but many of us stayed a while watching it because of how beautiful it is.

Más tarde entramos a una especie de casa donde habían serpientes, culebras, tortugas, un colobo oriental dormido también y unas grandes aves, pero no nos quedamos mucho tiempo observandolos porque como habían muchas personas aquí adentro pues estaba haciendo mucho calor y con el embarazo sentirme apretada me pone muy mal, entonces tuve que salir rápido de ahí.

Later we entered a kind of house where there were snakes, snakes, turtles, a sleeping eastern colobus and some big birds, but we did not stay long watching them because as there were many people in here it was very hot and with the pregnancy feeling tight makes me very sick, so I had to get out of there quickly.

Unos hermosos antílopes, la verdad es que hay muchos animales aquí para ver, así como también tiendas para comprar algo para comer o beber, heladerías pero todo estaba lleno de mucha gente y la verdad es que este día luego de tanto caminar por el zoológico estabamos cansados y no teniamos ganas de hacer cola, pero finalmente encontramos helado en bolitas y me gustó mucho mucho, era la primera vez que lo probaba y lo bueno es que no había cola aquí supongo porque era más caro que las barquillas y valió la pena porque era de limón y me refrescó.

Some beautiful antelopes, the truth is that there are many animals here to see, as well as stores to buy something to eat or drink, ice cream shops but everything was full of people and the truth is that this day after so much walking around the zoo we were tired and did not feel like queuing, but finally we found ice cream balls and I really liked it, it was the first time I tried it and the good thing is that there was no line here I guess because it was more expensive than the bars and it was worth it because it was lemon and it refreshed me.

Leones durmiendo también, y se los dijé, esta familia de felinos son flojos jajaja, también unos lindos osos, todos protegidos con grandes rejas, camellos y unos grandes elefantes que creo estaban comiendo arena. Finalmente terminamos nuestro recorrido, y fuimos a la salida para volver a casa, en el camino vimos que hay muchas tiendas también con peluches, juguetes, globos para los niños e incluso un pequeño parque.

Lions sleeping too, and I told you, this family of felines are lazy hahaha, also some cute bears, all protected with big fences, camels and some big elephants that I think were eating sand. Finally we finished our tour, and went to the exit to go back home, on the way we saw that there are many stores also with stuffed animals, toys, balloons for the kids and even a small park.

Sin duda este lugar es increíble para pasar un grandioso día con los más pequeños de la casa y en familia. Eso fue nuestra experiencia en este hermoso zoológico que les recomiendo. Espero que les haya gustado y nos vemos en un proximo post. Saludos!
