In addition to walking the first day on the island of Čiovo in Croatia (before the Hivefest), we also went to the beautiful city of Trogir, and it is relatively close that we even walked there and not only this day, we went several times because although it is a small city that you can go in half a day is a spectacular city full of history, and worth visiting if you go to Croatia.
Para llegar a Trogir debíamos cruzar un puente, el cuál sirve de unión con la Isla Čiovo. Me encantó esta ciudad no solo por lo hermosa que es, sino también porque no había demasiada gente a diferencia de Split, aunque creo que también pudo ser porque fuimos en una temporada que no hizo un clima cálido o quizá la mayoría de la gente solo va a Split. En Trogir también grabaron algunas escenas de la famosa serie Juego de Tronos y si no lo sabías su centro o casco antiguo ha sido considerado Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la Unesco.
To get to Trogir we had to cross a bridge, which serves as a link to the island of Čiovo. I loved this city not only because of how beautiful it is, but also because there were not too many people unlike Split, although I think it could also be because we went in a season that was not warm weather or maybe most people only go to Split. In Trogir they also filmed some scenes of the famous series Game of Thrones and if you didn't know its center or old town has been considered a Unesco World Heritage Site.
A pesar de ser una ciudad pequeña, en Trogir hay muchas cosas para hacer o ver, como visitar varios de sus templos o palacios, pasear por el hermoso paseo marítimo donde hay muchos restaurantes, o caminar por las calles empedradas que a mí es algo que me encanta hacer porque siento que estoy en el pasado. En algunos lugares estaba la bandera de Croacia colgando y en el paseo marítimo hay varios puestos de agencia ofreciendo tours, por si estas interesado en conocer otros hermosos lugares en Croacia.
Despite being a small city, in Trogir there are many things to do or see, like visiting several of its temples or palaces, strolling along the beautiful promenade where there are many restaurants, or walking through the cobblestone streets which is something I love to do because I feel like I am in the past. In some places there was the Croatian flag hanging and in the promenade there are several agency booths offering tours, if you are interested in knowing other beautiful places in Croatia.
Buenos restaurantes, heladerías, tiendas de recuerdos y de ropa y es que en Trogir consigues muchas cosas, y de noche ufff se ve espectacular también, nosotros disfrutamos mucho estando allí, y comimos delicioso también, pero eso se los dejo para otro post, por ahora les dejo algunas fotos de los lugares hermosos que no pueden dejar de ver si van a Trogir como la iglesia de San Sebastián, la catedral de San Lorenzo, el castillo del Camarlengo y por supuesto el espectacular paseo marítimo lleno de palmeras.
Good restaurants, ice cream shops, souvenir and clothing stores and in Trogir you get a lot of things, and at night ufff looks spectacular too, we really enjoyed being there, and we ate delicious too, but I'll leave that for another post, for now I leave you some pictures of the beautiful places that you can not miss if you go to Trogir as the church of St. Sebastian, the cathedral of St. Lawrence, the Camarlengo castle and of course the spectacular promenade full of palm trees.
