We used to live in Cebu City for a couple of years. I used to work for a BPO Company in Cebu IT Park then my partner worked in one of the biggest restaurants in the Philippines then switched to working for a motorcycle taxi company. We really got used to living in the city.
But when I got my DEPED item, I had to laylow my city life and get back at the province since I am assigned in Tuburan National High School, situated in the municipality of Tuburan, the midwest of Cebu.
Here in Tuburan, there are no big malls. No cinema and no fast foods. So everytime we want to watch the cinema and eat fastfoods, we will go to Cebu City from Tuburan via the TCH BALAMBAN road.
We decided to go to SM CITY MABOLO to buy some stuff we needed and to watch the cinema.
When we lived here in Cebu before, we watch the cinema almost twice a month. It has been our past time and our favorite means to date.
We arrived at the SM Cinema and these were the movies that were showing. We wanted to see some horror movie.
We chose to watch SOFIA THE POSSESSION which was ₱340.00 each ticket for a total of ₱680.00.
I remember back when it was still COVID19, the cinemas really closed down and finally the past few years, it opened once again and the world is really healing.
We also saw this area in the cinema where Snow White is showing and they had some beautiful posters outside and we did not missed the chance to take photos of it.
After we bought our cinema tickets, we went to Potato Corner to grab some fries and we ordered my favorite combination : sour cream and barbeque. Who else loves the combo?
We then went in five minutes prior to the movie starting and we brought our bought fries and we enjoyed eating it while watching the movie.
The movie evolves on a daughter being possessed by her mother which was killed by her students at the school where she is teaching.
The plot twist of the movie was good I would give it a 7/10. It was not very scary but it had a good story.
After the movie, we went to a boutique since my partner needed to buy a shirt and I also need some new pair of slippers.
After we bought the things we needed at the boutique, I saw my favorite yogurt and I bought some.

We also ran other errands and I got low battery and was not able to take further photos.
It was such a productive day since we got all we needed. I missed walking around the mall as I used to do almost everyday before since my company is situated just beside one of the biggest malls in Cebu City. I really miss my city life.
Living in the province got me slow paced but every once in a while I want to come here in the city to enjoy and get a bresh of fresh air (or polluted) LOL.
