RE: The best way to apply concealer and foundation in my opinion

in Lifestyle3 months ago

Yeah, different brushes will have different outcomes and also used in specific steps. It can depend on the technique like how good you are with adapting but certain brushes will either help you or make your life harder. Maybe a “perfect one” for someone will just depend on how much they like the effect of that tool, not necessarily something that is strictly for each person. Unlike foundation shades which need to be perfectly suited for someone.. so if you bought a “wrong one” you can always use them later on for different purposes. :D

Some brushes are big and some are dense and some are thin.. big brushes are oftentimes used for big areas like cheeks or whole face while some smaller brushes are for applying eyeshadow and some are for blending.

For dark circles, I find the SAEM concealer to cover up pretty well and no need for other stuff like foundation or color correctors. It’s very good for beginners and it’s cheap as well and lasts a long time. I don’t even need foundation if I’m using that concealer :D

Seriously though, there's still a lot to learn in make up. I thought if you have brush of whatever and those free sponge you get in some foundation, then you already good to go. Although maybe it is already enough, but with the knowledge of these brushes and sponges, you can really improve more the make up. That's just ao cool. I don't really have the plan to learn make up but I am tempted to do so. I am really not just ready to invest with the tools for it.

Oh, thanks for the suggestion, i'll take note this, who knows, I might need this in the future. My dark circles is really the worse!

There is so much haha and that's why people hire makeup artists cos it takes so much time to learn and develop the skills to make it look good. These sponges or brushes aren't a need ha, you can use your fingers too. It just gives the best results with the tools. But yeah I do agree on the makeup products themselves can get expensive really but an option for you is to go to malls and try them on before buying so you can be 100% sure of the right shade for you. :D
