I've almost always had a "flagship" phone - but I think another strategy to counter the smartphone "addiction" is to just buy a shittier phone next time. I've got a S23 Ultra at the moment, and I plan to keep it for some many more years to come - but when I get my next phone, I think I am going to buy something "mid-range" which will hopefully have the same features / performance - which will make it less likely for me to want to use the phone constantly.
Having a Pixel for my work phone did a good job of this a few years back - I barely ever used it, because it was just so... basic in comparison :P
That's a good tip! Although I have a midrange phone and all apps and games can be installed on that.
You should consider a Nokia 6210. Only Snake and the battery lasts more than a week 😀
