Ayer presenté mi primer exámen practico de Semiología, fue una experiencia muy grata de describir porque sentí emociones desde el estrés hasta la felicidad. Primero, quiero decirles que los exámenes prácticos son orales junto con el paciente, tienes prácticamente dos jurados y el que te preguntará será otro doctor que no sea tu profesor de la materia.
Realmente, estuve bastante nerviosa porque presenté dos exámenes, un Quiz de Electrocardiograma que no me fue bien porque siempre me costó ese tema y bueno, el segundo fue mi exámen práctico que tuve 16/20 y eso es un éxito porque tengo muchas cosas estudiando al mismo tiempo.
Mi equipo de Semiología es bastante genial, a pesar que soy la única mujer del grupo, considero que siempre existe un equilibrio ya que tenía que aprender a convivir con diferentes personas de mi cohorte universitario.
En esta nueva experiencia, para las personas que son muy tímidas o nerviosas durante los exámenes orales, les digo que los nervios siempre existirán pero lo importante es seguir fortaleciendo nuestra actitud a través de actividades como este. Te deseo un feliz sábado 🤗

First, I want to tell you that the practical exams are oral together with the patient, you have practically two jurors and the one who will ask you will be another doctor who is not your teacher of the subject. Actually, I was quite nervous because I took two exams, an Electrocardiogram Quiz that didn't go well because I always had a hard time with that topic and well, the second was my practical exam that I had 16/20 and that is a success because I have many things studying at the same time. Same time. My Semiology team is pretty great, even though I am the only woman in the group, I consider that there is always a balance since I had to learn to live with different people from my university cohort. In this new experience, for people who are very shy or nervous during oral exams, I tell them that nerves will always exist but the important thing is to continue strengthening our attitude through activities like this.
