I didn't know that there was a museum day. 🎉 There is a lot that goes on into putting an exhibit and as you note, practices have changed through time. I took a course on museum anthropology once, and I spent a lot of time in the local museum. They are wonderful mysterious places.
This museum is huge. A long time ago, I wrote a review of its three floors, which house archaeology, fine art and a storeroom. These are permanent exhibitions, but there is a temporary exhibition every month, such as this spectacular one. Thank you very much!!
The archeology part was of interest to me long ago. Going to the museum to conduct my studies felt as if I was walking into another era among ancient people. I enjoyed the combination with fine arts in this museum that you visited. It's huge!
