The second-last day of Ramadan unfolded with a deep sense of devotion and routine. Rising at 4 AM, I began the day with ablution, preparing myself spiritually for the sacred observances that followed. To shake off the lingering drowsiness, I did a few light exercises before joining my parents for the pre-dawn meal. Sharing this moment with family added warmth to the early morning hours.

Once Suhoor was complete, I took a short break before heading to the mosque for the Fajr prayer. The peaceful atmosphere of the congregation always brings a sense of serenity, making it a perfect way to begin the day. Returning home, I decided to catch up on some rest, sleeping until mid-morning.

Fortunately, today was a much-needed break from office work. Having worked continuously for over two weeks, our boss granted us a day off to recuperate. With free time on my hands, I turned my attention to the orchard surrounding my home. The apricot trees, now in full bloom, were a beautiful sight, and I took the opportunity to spray pesticides and oils to ensure their health.

Later, my mother asked me to pick up some last-minute groceries for Eid preparations. Most essentials had already been arranged, but a few items still needed to be bought. Heading to the village market, I unexpectedly ran into a friend who was also there for Eid shopping. The chance meeting added a pleasant touch to the day, as we exchanged greetings and caught up for a while.

As the evening approached, I helped with preparations for Iftar. Breaking the fast at 6:15 PM was followed by Maghrib prayers, after which I had an early dinner. Without delay, I made my way to the main mosque to join the Taraweeh prayers, a special part of Ramadan nights. The extended prayers lasted for over an hour and a half, after which I returned home, feeling spiritually fulfilled and physically exhausted.

That marked the conclusion of the day—one filled with devotion, small moments of joy, and preparations for the approaching Eid celebrations.
