Greetings dear friends.
I just wish to shear with you guys, how my weekend is going, the expectations vs the reality.
I woke up on Friday morning, hopeful and happy that it's the end of the month of January and most of all I should be expecting my paycheck from the government I work for anytime that day and also I will have to meet with my rotaract friends at the clubs fellowship venue that day.
I jumped out of bed at about 4:30 am and said my prayers, did my house cleaning, went to work and came back by 2:30 pm and had a little rest, before going for a hangout with fellow rotaractors in the service of humanity at 4:30 pm.
While we were in the meeting we had a lot of mind blowing discussions, ranging from the UN SDGs Donald trump's pull out of the world health organization funding on behalf of the USA and the future of work, which is the main topic of the days fellowship.
We also made enquiry on February 13th to February 15th District rotary Governor visit to the district in jalingo and the project our Rotarians sponsors club are going to partner with our club with, and the need for us to get corp members involved in the process so as to expand our Rich with some communities in the city of jalingo.
The meeting ended with myself talking about a side hustle and suggesting the use of Hive blog for clubs and institution for the benefits we can get from it and also it will allow the club generate more money for the service projects they will be doing in the future and also I explained a lot of other benefits it could mean for the club if it can get more members to sign up for a hive account and start blogging about rotary international while having their club members delegate a portion of their hive power to the clubs account for curation and voting incentives, had any of the club members or rotaractors and Rotarians decided to have a humanitarian related content on this space we can support with a good voting incentives, there were also club members who joined the meeting via zoom, the meeting ended at 6:00pm so I went back home happy that I talked about hive.

My disappointment is that I haven't been paid.
