After dabbling with move2earn for most of last year (see posts here and here and dipping my toes into the play2earn arena, it got me thinking..
How many of my daily activities can i earn some crypto from?
Quite a few, is the answer, and in some cases you can get paid in several ways for the same activities.
The main sources of my monetised-habits income is generally from move-to-earn apps, with smaller amounts coming from reading, writing and listening to podcasts. Casual play-to-earn gaming produces variable returns each week, depending on how much time i have to kill.
Move to earn
Because I've already discussed the M2E apps i use in previous blog posts, I'm not going to go into much detail about those here. Suffice to say there are a few of them, and these are free to use, no NFT purchases required! I'm also beta testing an 'exercise to earn' app but I'll write about that separately, as the 'currency' isn't yet traded, and it does need an NFT to qualify for earnings.

I haven't included any Euro or Dollar amounts here, as by the time i post this the value will have changed anyway. Suffice to say i'm not going to be retiring any time soon lol. But thats not the point. The point is to see how the various currencies add up over time, so I'll probably do a monthly or quarterly summary, just to put a number on it at those milestones.
If you'd like to try any of these apps, here are the links to do so.

Read, write, and listen to earn.
Since I haven't been very active yet this year on Publish0x, my earnings there amount to about 20c at time of writing, from reading & tipping other authors for valuable content. I'm sure you can do better than this, so here's the link to get your account set up .

Fountain is a podcasting app that uses Value for Value and rewards using the bitcoin lightning network. This allows transfers of tiny amounts of bitcoin without any crazy transaction(gas) fees. It was designed for exactly this kind of micro transaction. You too can earn sats for listening by downloading it here
Carrot is a crypto news app by bitcoin inc, also using the lightning network.
The fact that you're reading this means you're already aware of hive, where the posts from Actifit go to live. Because hive pays out rewards on posts after 7 days i don't have much details from there yet. I haven't been posting much here recently besides the actifit reports and an occasional random post, but that's something i'll be changing as i spend less time on facebook and more on hive. If you're looking to improve your fitness i have some guides and workout videos posted here.
Play to earnMy focus is on casual games that you can pick up and play for a few minutes, and still get some kind of reward. I've found a bunch of these from the same company. I'll link the posts to those games once they are published.
Casual P2E weekly total 1242 Satoshis
Full disclosure, i also play splinterlands with the username @DRBLOODYMAL, but since i haven't played yet this year, theres nothing to share.
Anyway, that pretty much wraps things up for this weeks report, and hopefully gives you a sense of what I'm doing to earn a little crypto from things i'd be doing anyway. Let me know if you find this post useful, or if you know of other apps you think i might be good additions to what i'm doing. Also, i'm happy to help you get set up with anything i've mentioned above.

I heard a lot about Move2Earn like Actifit and Sweatcoin, but never tried them myself. My cousin has a sweat coin app, but I we didn't know how to move the points out of the app to any other wallet. That was strange...
I'm not active in Publish0x either, I had to choose only two websites for my time, and I choose Hive/DBuzz as my main and Read.cash as my Sub blogging platform. I'll probably retire Readcash soon, if it did die, so maybe I'll find time for Publish0x again.
I stopped doing Play2Earn once it started to feel like a chore to me, I dunno if I'm ever going back, but I'm leaving my Splinterlands cards alone for now.
I thought I'll find a new way to earn, but Fountain and Carrot are the only new ones here. Never heard about them! Will find time to check 'em out. Later. I appreciate the excel sheets you posted for this!

Thanks, I’ve also used coin app (with the sentinel) and even tried pro for a while. It drained the battery too much, and really wasn’t worth it. The XYO coins have almost no value, it’s just not worth the hassle in my opinion.
To get SWEAT tokens from sweatcoin, download the “Sweat Wallet” app from the App Store.
The iOS interface for Actifit is a little clunky, but you can rack up tokens pretty quickly so long as you are active every day 👍
Is “sweat economy” app availble on iOS?
Yep. I had the name wrong.the correct name is Sweat Wallet.

Anything that can be earned by everyone will continuesly lose value. Cost, Time, Effort, and Knowledge are always balanced out in this life. You can't have them all without something unpleasant to counterpart it.

Unfortunately, in the case of the coin app, there seem to be some less than honest going’s on happening.
Apparently part of the code is for ad injection in the background, constantly running ads the user doesn’t see, but this is part of the reason the app is so hard on battery life, and explains why users have to keep the app open (most of the time) to earn.
Don’t get me wrong, I have no problem with developers using ads to pay for their work; they have to earn an income of course. It’s the sneakiness and being dishonest that I cannot stand.
Me too.
