Welcome To The NFT Symposium - A New Community Space For NFT Creators, Artists, Traders, Ethusiasts & Visionaries.

in The NFT Symposium3 years ago

NFTs promise to transform many aspects of our world, from digital art and collectibles, through to gaming and on to just about anything that can be owned and traded. In honour of this emerging and exciting field, The NFT Symposium is now live on the Hive Blockchain. Meet, greet, share, create, promote and learn about the decentralisation of ownership using blockchain technology.

What Is The NFT Symposium?

First and foremost, this space is for lovers of NFTs to come together, have fun, learn and get involved in using NFTs and pushing forward the envelope of what NFT technology can achieve. Everyone is welcome, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned experts and whether you are a creator, trader, technologist or just curious.

Presently the global NFT collector and creative communities are spread across many disconnected spaces, often in Discord servers run to support popular NFT art series or in other private chat groups. The Hive blockchain offers a unique opportunity for crypto, art and NFT fans to come together in one place that has been custom designed to meet their needs.

Not only does the NFT Symposium provide a social networking experience that is entirely blockchain powered but the exciting features Hive mean that everyone can receive reward payouts as a result of community upvotes on their posts and comments. Now you can literally earn crypto for taking part in discussions and blogging about the topics you love the most!

If you are new to Hive, please read this introductory user guide to learn more about what you can do here.

Mining Your Mind To Win Crypto Rewards!

Hive operates using a 'Proof of Brain' algorithm. In simple terms, this means that Hive rewards bloggers and posters for the quality of their writing and multimedia contributions. If you have an exciting news story to share about crypto, NFTs, art or other topics that fit the scope of The NFT Symposium, then share it with us and our curators and community will upvote your work based on their subjective appreciation of it. The more relevant and useful your content is, the more you are likely to be upvoted and receive a greater cut of the total rewards pool.

The NFT Market is huge and only likely to continue to grow as ever more artists, games companies, movie productions studies, record labels and other artists catch on to the unique and inspiring opportunities that NFTs provide. We recommend getting in early to avoid missing out on growth potential and to build a following in the symposium as quickly as possible.

The more value that you add to the community here, the more you are likely to be rewarded and the more you will help the entire NFT industry to expand!

What To Post About?

There are very few rules in the NFT Symposium, just:

  • Stay on topic.
  • Don't spam.
  • Don't run scams.
  • Don't be abusive.

Other than these basic rule that are needed to create a harmonious environment, you are free to post and share to your heart's content.

How to stay on topic:

Common topics that NFT enthusiasts want to read about are new innovations in the NFT technology space, the latest collectibles that are now available as NFTs, your own use and appreciation of NFTs, your vision for the future of NFTs and crypto or NFT related news stories from around the world.

If you are an NFT creator, such as a visual artist or musician, it's fine to post about your work and projects - just make sure your intention is to be social and interact with the community, rather than just dropping in to post a spam link and then leave. Interaction, engagement and intent are key here.

Deviating from NFT related topics is ok up to a point, but Hive has many other sub communities that you can post unrelated content to, so please consider doing that before filling up The NFT Symposium with content that most people aren't going to find relevant.

The Future of The NFT Symposium

Plans are afoot to offer exciting features and support to our community, such as a dedicated website, a voting trail, competitions and more. Once we become more established we will look at launching a dedicated website for the Symposium and perhaps even a custom Layer 2 token and community token fund (DAO). This would allow us to potentially make a huge difference to the future of NFTs, not just on Hive, but on all blockchains since a DAO enables the group to fund projects that we find exciting.

In the meantime, let's create an awesome space for creative minds and hearts to express, enjoy, learn and grow!

Catch you in the Metaverse!

I thought you might be interested in Duran Duran's first NFT drop. This was an entirely new learning experience for me, and I very amazed at what I have learned about NFTs.
